Hope everyone has had a nice Sunday, it is Monday here, not a bad day, and the temps were perfect, I was able to take a couple of nice walks with my dogs, they loved it as well.

Hello all, LOL, folks have been emailing me asking if I am ok, seems that the end of the North Island, had a bad earthquake yesterday, well, I did not feel it, we are in the middle of the South Island, it was a 6.5, put that end to a standstill I guess. I am glad I did not feel it, I would have been outta here big time. I hate those things.

The friction involved can be extremely massive and generates a lot of heat

Hi Golden eagles
It has been pretty quiet here, mostly due to snow and viruses in the family...but thankfully we are warm and well!
I've been keeping busy with walks in good weather, chores, reading, and crochet projects.

I have been out this morning, got my teeth cleaned, got something new to clean Gracie's teeth too (at the pet shop).
We may eat dinner out later...tomorrow I have the Bible study at church; it takes up the whole morning, I like it. We are working in the gospel of Mark.

Sounds like you have had a nice day, I need to see the dentist as well, have not found one in New Zealand yet, but I am sure there are some good ones.

Thanks Gail, so far, I have not felt any bad ones, but, I am told that this little place is on a fault line, YIKES.

Both islands, [North and South] are separated, by that fault
ie: between Pacific and Australian plates
and, is part, of the Pacific 'Ring Of Fire'

You would be shocked to see how much gumloss I have....I must keep up regular cleanings or lose my teeth.

By gumloss, I assume that you meant: shrinkage / baring your teeth [?]

We have 'Corsodyl' and it does just that

has been suspect for some long while
It has been [they say] removed as an additive from UK water supplies

Corsodyl mouthwash (chlorhexidine)
