Hello Dave, Hello all.

Since I have returned to this thread and others in CF, I feel so much closer to the Lord, THIS is what I have been missing and did not realize it. You are all like a daily dose of Vitamins.

Good night Dave, here, it is 3:16 in the afternoon, Thursday.

It is 10am here....I have been up for a while...got outside for an early walk and saw a cloud off to the west...o good...maybe rain is coming....not so. We have a fire burning out to my west...homes are burning, people being evacuated...O Lord we are dry here.

It is almost not real anymore...just too many disasters and explosions in the earth these days.

I must praise and thank the Lord for all His mercies to me and peace even in this world. His peace.

Good morning, it is 9:25am here, Friday morning. Cold and windy out.

I should start walking early in the mornings, that is the prettiest time of day and not too hot yet, doggies would love it as well.

It seems like poor So. California is always getting fire, hope no one is hurt in this one.

Well, best get on to answering more threads, hope everyone has a nice day.

I got the house cleaning done and took a little walk, now, I am relaxing here. Not a bad day I guess.

I think bulldogs are very cute....I have never owned one tho....they do drool a lot I think. But what a face.....tooooo cute.

They said on the news that 3 men were arrested; their careless activity at a campfire started all this.
May the Lord bless your area with abundant rainfall to end the drought, bless you with protection and peace, and have mercy on all victims in this terrible tragedy

Back home, we use to have forest fires started that way, you can not be too careful when it is hot and dry.

Mary is doing fine

A side-effect
~the tingling of nerve endings [like chilblains]
is more persistent, than the hospital said it might [lasting more than 48 hours]
and thumb and forefinger grasping, is being found 'particularly difficult'
This is a bilateral experience [both hands]
The chemo can also cause strokes [although rarely]

I am carrying 'a list' of what to do's and what not to do's
~in the event of specific signs and symptoms

If all continues well, Mary's next appointment
will be a bloods check in two weeks to gauge the effects of the chemo

So far so good \o/ Thank you Lord

You are right...people lost their homes yesterday to these 3 with their camp fire...I think one of them was very sorry....who knows why they were out there in the first place.
I think they got the fire down pretty fast, it is still cool for us...but we do get winds...I am going to be clearing more dead stuff off my property...just too risky to have it around...my yards are dying, looking like desert here which is what we actually are in some respects.

This is not surprising Dave...most people get side effects from chemo.

I hope her family will be checking in on both of you...it is always draining to be dealing with health issues...for the sick one and the care giver...
He is our strength and I pray that you continue to have joy in your hearts...even now.

I am also sorry, to have to note,
that, were it not for Mary's present illness..... that weeks and months could pass
before we would see sight of them [visiting]
The phone has also been off the hook more than, it is on the hook
with enquiries as to her progress [butcher, baker and the candlestick-maker ]

He goes before us, walks beside us and follows behind us
We are not 'alone' \o/

I understand Dave....we don't hear from the boys as much as we would like too....but our family is broken...although signs of healing are sprouting.
Your family will be blessed by your faith in Jesus....they will see Him....PTL!

It is sad that sometimes the only times that families come together is due to a tragedy, but maybe, that is the Lords' way of opening folks eyes to see just how important families really are.
