Shanelle has been shivering lately so I knitted her a sweater yesterday. She won't sit still in a blanket and there was nothing this small for sale. So I had to guestimate a pattern. Requirements: 2 balls of yarn and an evening of relaxation in front of the tv.

I am a bit fatigued, but did get out to pick up Penny, got my shopping list and coupons sorted, and cleaned all my pet habitats in spite of myself

Hello, everyone
I hope this new day will be a greatly blessed one for you all. We are having a wonderful few days of summer here, after a stickily humid and far too hot time last week.
I have read back through the thread and will pray for the various needs mentioned and for all of you.
My family and I are doing fine. My husband has the rest of this week off on annual leave, which is nice. We have had our little grandson stay for the weekend a couple of times lately. He's about 2 and a half now. Keeps me on my toes as he's everywhere - at once.But such a delight - a gentle little fellow. We all adore him.
Our still-at-home adult children are doing well, with one going back to study full-time this year and the other settled into a promotion in her place of work. Our other two adult children are both getting on well in their respective jobs too.
We don't own any pets, but I do enjoy seeing the photos you all put up of your pets.

We also buy our hoodies and rain gear for our dogs.I was able to buy sweaters that fit my cocker spaniels...we used them during our coldest temps here.
RuthD, I have had pain under my kneecaps for nearly 30 years now...there is not enough space or cushion under mine to let the knee cap slide properly...I get some relief with glucosamines...and other natural suppliments...I sort of switch what I use...nothing has cured the problem...the meds the dr gave me at first made me worse.
I have been able to stay fairly active...but as I age the pain is worse some days...now the bottoms of my feet are giving me pain...:duh:...I keep going as best I can...rest is important, when the flairs are intense.
Penny's fur is fluffy and feels thinker as it grows out.I know...but those baths make them extra yummy to snuggle with. I use a waterless, spray shampoo product between baths to groom Gracie...her thick, coarse hair needs attention and she looks wonderful.

My Gracie is a snuggler and kisser...just a huge comfort to me and my hubby.Thank you Tom for your prayers and all of you for your kind words. She will never replace my beloved Juliette, R.I.P. but she gives me a lot of joy. She arrived as a rambunctious ear biter and now snuggles and kisses like she's always been here.
