Learned at the SS ofc...the girl who waitied on us there told us about the increased crime going on in her neighborhood...in an area not used to having crime...similar to us. This is where we are I guess, darkness is increasing on the earth. But it will not last forever...Jesus will return, maybe the time is short.

A drunk neighbor (he was new) broke in here once when we were home; I met him in my kitchen was shook up for quite a while!

That had to be traumatic Gail...(((((((hugs)))))). I have gotten better, but little things can rattle me, I have sort of always been that way...soooo, considering what has happened I am doing pretty well.
I did enjoy very much talking to my neighbors and we are all on a higher alert to look out for each other....that is a good thing.

I had to swap my coffee for Lemon Tea for a few-weeks
Just holding a half-mouthful in my mouth for a few seconds
would cause me to vomit, violently
Everything passes.... Now I can take a mugful without nausea
It was down to, my new meds, of-course!

everything [except my curry] tasted the same [bland]

Anyway, I seem to have recovered from all of that \o/ PTL
It's quite here today. Last evening wasn't as bad as it sometimes is. Of course, I kept the television on for noise. Knowing that my son is happier than he was for a while and that it's a good place for him to be currently gives me peace. I'm not thrilled that he rides around the city on his bike at all hours of night. But, I have to trust God to keep him safe just as he has kept me safe all these years. I used to be out way after dark, never worried about traffic or crime.

It is very quiet here on the lake as well; very private and 'woodsy'.It's quiet here most of the time with exception of loud music on occasion and od the odd drunken youth rows. We have lived in the islands for so long that when I see or read about the bad things going on in the bigger cities and town down South I really have to thank God for going us the beauty of living here. I pray that God will keep hm safe and sound from harm and to be stretwise.
