I'll be working.. it's truck day so I'll be tired when I get off (in my legs and my back)... lots of lifting and moving... sometimes my back feels a little tight when it's all over, and my legs feel like noodles ... No strong arms at this store, just two female managers, a boy manager lol, and a small male store manager who helps but doesn't lift. ... maybe its what is keeping me young. Thanks Connie I love it!

I am fine, but hubby is a bit under the weather.
Last week he picked up a virus and had another asthma flare that keeps him up at night wheezing (even with the inhaler).
He may need another quick pulse of prednisone; the doc will be calling him back.
Week 3 of no work, but we are happy he can rest; the Lord will provide the income needed

Take good care at work

I am off to get a walk in, and then work on cleaning some storage areas.

The weather has been tough, with fluctuating temps, and then between the high pollen and the mold from all the rain.
He wasn't really ill; just an annoying scratchy throat and cold symptoms to start, and then developed the cough (esp. at night).
If he could sleep through the night he'd be fine.
The prednisone worked great last time; we are hoping it helps again...and then good health for a while

We just got our walk in; it is lovely out
Just taking a quick break to refuel, and then on to some cleaning

I will be praying for him...I hate to see my hubby sick, he was and usually still is the stronger one between us...he does not take good care of his diabetes issues...

I hear you about them being stronger in the past; it is disconcerting to see him with health issues now (especially with those that caused serious illnesses with me in the past).

I pray all the time about it, because it is a fact of life as we age.
But the Lord is with us and will provide for all our needs

It has been great weather so far today; I got all my yard and cellar chores done.... and got a walk in
I am beat now

I just have to pick up hubby's prescriptions and farm fresh eggs from a friend a bit later

was a hard day both physically and emotionally... I shall survive... I read yours and gails posts about health issued and I think, I'm just a little bit younger than you guys. Not much at all... I could not do this job if I had health concerns too. I'm barely holding on as it is.... I'm thinking of trying to find another job... I've asked God for permission and have told him things I'm sure he already knows.... this job is too much for me I think.....

I still felt my youth even at 50, and a little past that....
later other things helped to slow me down...
now I feel my age creeping up....

Your job is hard...my son worked retail as a young man,
his eyes were always black from the stress and physical work involved...
you work hard and deal with the public...you are a champion.
