Chesterton's Father Brown

Are there any fans of G. K. Chesterton's Father Brown short-stories? I've read a few online and I recently ordered the complete series from Amazon UK.

Sherlock Holmes has got nothing on this wee parish priest !

I love the Father Brown stories! They're what originally got me into Chesterton's work, in general! I started reading and REALLY enjoying them, and thought "wow, I need to see what ELSE this guy's done...."

Love them. I carry a copy in my laptop bag for extended waits. BBC has a good DVD version as well from 1982 if you want to see it acted out fairly well.

I'm not generally into detective stories, but as with anything else he wrote, I *love* Chesterton's Father Brown stories.

Right on. I don't MIND mystery stories at all, and actually like them quite a bit, but even if I wasn't a fan of detective stories I'd still like the Father Brown stories, because I really enjoy his character.
