Chess High Scores

Would it be possible to add a high score table for chess?

It could be based on how many moves it takes to mate, and ties could be broken by adding up which pieces you still have and which of your opponent's pieces you have taken.

(I could probably work up an equation if no one else wants to.)

Possible, but the chess software is not public domain, and copyright, so I can't modify it - I can let you play it though.
