Uh-huh. But hey, Answers in Genesis runs it, so I should really not be surprised.Creation Museum said:Well begin the Museum experience by showing that facts dont speak for themselves (click here for a proposed drawing of this exhibit). There arent separate sets of evidences for evolution and creationwe all deal with the same evidence (we all live on the same earth, have the same fossils, observe the same animals, etc.). The difference lies in how we interpret what we study.
Probably the same sort people that sent money in to Peter Popoff, Jimmy Swaggart or Benny Hinn.I read somewhere that the museum cost about US$27 million to build.
My question is: HOW does an organisation like Answers in Genesis, which is concerned solely with distributing lies, misinformation and religious propaganda to impressionable lay people, get hold of $27 million to spend on a museum? Who in their right mind would donate to such an organisation?
Yeah, I wish I had some Charisma. I can BS with the best of them so I'd be a multi-millionaire.Probably the same sort people that sent money in to Peter Popoff, Jimmy Swaggart or Benny Hinn.
I suppose if you can talk fast enough and get in front of enough people you can convince a good portion to do just about anything like send you money for no reason or even vote for you.
Attend a Dale Carnegie course. You'll owe me a royalty fee for setting you down the path to moral bankruptcy but financial success.Yeah, I wish I had some Charisma. I can BS with the best of them so I'd be a multi-millionaire.![]()
Make no mistake, it is certainly eye-opening. I, for one, still can't fathom how they thought it'd be useful to spend so much money on a rather petty topic.I just thought it would be an interesting read
That's lovely for you, but noone has ridiculed anyone's beliefs. Please to be disembarking from your high horse.I live by my faith as do you but I dont ridicule anyones belief.
I'm glad that I haven't either, to be frank.I thought it would be an interesting topic because I never heard of a christian museum
So-called? M'lady, we all have the same facts, the same evidences; the difference is how you interprit.afterall scientist state their so called facts in museums a lot
And this is what we have. I think you feel we are laughing at you, but I assure you we are not. It is merely the notion of a Creationist Museum that makes us laugh in disbelief; Creationism is not science by any stretch of the imagination or any flex of the linguistic brain cells. It is a poorly veiled attempt by the Religious Right to inject their Christian propaganda where it doesn't belong.I feel if you are going to have a forum everybody opinion should be respected and heard
Splendid.I stand by my beliefs.
They made that movie already, it was called Waterworld. It was...not excellent. In a decade or two, this museum will be featured in a The Last Days of North-American Empire movie...
