  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Because I cannot honestly say that I agree with the Nicene Creed, I am no longer allowed to post in the Christian area. I had started a journal there regarding my kitten, Chatuli, who was my passion for the four days (approximately to the hour) she graced us with her short life. My final entry there was when she died in my arms on 23 May 2005. It really hurt, and I just was not ready to tell what happened.

Forgetting that the journals were in the Christian area, I tried to post the end of the story of my beautiful kitten, but I was not allowed to. A few people had read my journal entries, so this is what I tried to post:

Just so that you will know, Chatuli was not only crippled, but unknown to me, she had an uncorrectable bowel blockage. I tried to get the vet to do anything, anything, to save her, but he said there was nothing they could do. She died in my arms.

I have not gotten another kitten. Her siblings visit our yard with the mother, but they are all very wild. The neighbor and I have decided that we will capture them when they are around five months, take them in and have them fixed, then bring them back to the neighborhood. They are beautiful kittens, but they will not let anyone near them.

I didn't, Bubblegirl. And it's all right. Really.

They have a rule here that Messianics must hold to the Nicene Creed, which most do not hold to, because our only creeds are those in the Scriptures; we accept no other. One of your ancient Christian composers wrote,
I need no other argument
I need no other creed
It is enough that Jesus died
And that he died for me.
I agree.
