Trump ran for president in 2000.
Amen, brother. That's my prayer, too.I never said you were mocking God. Just in general, this country would do well if there was a revival of the Fear of the Lord. Another Great Awakening if you will. I remain hopeful that Charlie Kirk's death sparks a movement that brings the nation to its knees in prayer and repentance.
According to wikipedia, in 2000, he was part of the Reform party, but then dropped out of the race:I didn't remember that at all. He must have ran as an independent or a democrat and didn't make it past the primary. I don't pay attention to the priimaries of other parties much.
I've always been a Republican.
I suspect either/or. I doubt very many of them weren’t already on the path to Jesus. That's true, but maybe they wanted to re-commit themselves and be more fervent? Who knows? Or their emotions were very running very high?
Who knows? I'll let God alone be the judge. Some people don't necessarily stay on the Christian path and later abandon it all together.I suspect either/or. I doubt very many of them weren’t already on the path to Jesus.
I didn’t casually dismiss them coming to the faith. I doubted the claim they were converts. And people here casually dismiss people’s claim to their faith regularly. Heck, you’ve done it to me.I have never seen a single Christian on these forums casually dismissing a person coming to the faith. At least, up until now.
Congrats on being wrong. Next time don't accuse people of not living in The USA after not doing a modicum of research.I didn't remember that at all. He must have ran as an independent or a democrat and didn't make it past the primary. I don't pay attention to the priimaries of other parties much. I'm a Republican voter.
That is a thing one can choose to hope for, sure.I never said you were mocking God. Just in general, this country would do well if there was a revival of the Fear of the Lord. Another Great Awakening if you will. I remain hopeful that Charlie Kirk's death sparks a movement that brings the nation to its knees in prayer and repentance.
According to wikipedia, in 2000, he was part of the Reform party, but then dropped out of the race:
I became a registered Republican in 2016. I was 21 at the time.
Well, it took long enough for you to remember.YOU'RE RIGHT! I DID!
I think honestly the best gaslighter in history was Charles Boyer, but I guess that’s up to interpretation.Wow you are the best gaslighter in history.
I’m not judging them or their salvation, only the claim that people were converted in droves at the event. I think it was more people reaffirming their faith or publicly declaring it, that’s all.Who knows? I'll let God alone be the judge. Some people don't necessarily stay on the Christian path and later abandon it all together.
Yeah. I think that makes sense.I’m not judging them or their salvation, only the claim that people were converted in droves at the event. I think it was more people reaffirming their faith or publicly declaring it, that’s all.
I’m assuming your skipping my post pointing out your error but answering other people’s comments is as close as an admission that you’re wrong and apology as we’ll be getting today. The first presidential election I voted in was 1988. I voted for Bush. It was Reagan who made me republican It was him I studied and admired in my teenage years. The Bush's about made me lose any loyalty to the party, I actually stopped voting for a time after the 2000 election but Trump brought me back to the party and to voting in 2015.
The Republican way! Expect no less.I’m assuming your skipping my post pointing out your error but answering other people’s comments is as close as an admission that you’re wrong and apology as we’ll be getting today.
I have done no such thing to you.I didn’t casually dismiss them coming to the faith. I doubted the claim they were converts. And people here casually dismiss people’s claim to their faith regularly. Heck, you’ve done it to me.
I disagree.I have done no such thing to you.
Well, we all are entitled to our opinions.I disagree.
I can’t help that I have a better memory than you do, apparently.Well, we all are entitled to our opinions.
I think that overall, the memorial service did a very good job bringing much needed unity. Even Trump and Elon Musk buried the hatchet. I think we all can agree that one thing this country can unify under is love for God, country, and each other.Who knows? I'll let God alone be the judge. Some people don't necessarily stay on the Christian path and later abandon it all together.
