Charles Capps?

I just realized I have his book "Faith and Confession". I remember ordering it a while back, but I'm still catching up on some other reading so I just shoved it to the bottom of the pile.

Anyone read anything by Capps? Would like to hear what you guys think about him and his teachings/writings, etc.

You could call him a faith "technician." He is one of the best on the nuts and bolts of faith. The book you have is very good. He is famous for his books on "Authority in Three Worlds", "God's Creative Power Will Work For You" and several others, all centering on faith, confession, and the authority of the believer. He was a trailblazer during the 70's and 80's when the Word of Faith was taking off. He still has radio and tv programs as far I know.

Oh, I can see that I have more books to purchase LOL! The 'End Time Events' sounds interesting - is he led by the spirit in his writings as well as being in line with Biblical principles?

LOL I just love spirit led works! I am being serious here - I love inspired words from the Holy Spirit because He has far more insight than a mere ordinary human being! You can tell the difference between words that have been written by human minds with the words that are inspired from the Lord! The words are far more powerful and enduring somehow...

Charles Capps is a solid WOF Bible Teacher- I have read many of his books several times- rereading one right now!

One thing I really like about Charles Capps is that he carefully watches the words of his mouth. He has trained himself to speak EVERY word with GOOD purpose..... to believe what he says and say what he believes and base EVERYTHING on GOD's WORD.

I was working as a security guard in the 80s and had his book on prayer in my pocket. God picked me up and set me upright! The book let me know that God gives us keys that we can employ for our own edification and renewal. They make for hope and faith. His Cappsules Gospills are life pills that work for your healing and you'd be well advised to get into the habit of consuming them.

Their is nothing like getting renewed while reading about how to get renewed and have your soul conform to God's plan.

Every now and then he'll say something that seems like a bit of a stretch and some of my friends balk at that (a deduction). I just take everything that I can in the Spirit with my spiritual ear and run with that. His daughter Annette is very anointed too.

He has a teaching on "The Wold That Was" that got my attention. I was telling a friend in the Spirit about it and the Holy Spirit was agreeing!

Then God led me to someone who was shown how the earth was and how it was destroyed by water, and then ice (she saw this in Heaven). This accounts for the ice age. She said that originally the dinosaurs didn't eat each other and it never rained. Satan and then his devils fell like lightning bolts one by one to the earth, which they quickly deformed. Their really was a "world that was" before this one. The world really is very old. We, however, are as old as the generations from Adam are recorded in the Bible.

We'll get to see the replay of how God created everything in Heaven in a place for His people to review this and important events in human history. She said God has plans for His children to create things on our other planets in the 1,000 year reign. Apparently this will be the beginning of other stories yet to be written in the long range plan of God.

I want to see what happened when the Lord went to preach to the spirits who were sometimes disobedient in Noah's day after He died. This would no doubt include everyone else who died before Jesus' sacrifice, who didn't go to the suffering side of Hades. We think a lot happened here on earth, but just as much happened in the spirit realm after His death before He took His seat with God in His throne.

Something tells me this will stir a few things up.
