I'm German studying Hebrew in Idaho .. farm by summer and study Hebrew and read winters when it is snowing.
I use Zola's Introduction to Hebrew and like it.
After three years I was trying to make the sounds come out right when I read Hebrew and was miserable .. dumb vowels .. dots and dashes .. silly letters that duplicated some sounds .. reading backwards .. poor eyesight and can't see the little extensions on some words .. three different alef bets .. so, I called the local college CSI.
Do you have any Hebrew students that would like a side job of teaching me Hebrew? No we have never had an Israeli before .. try the Synagogue in Boise, no the closest is Sun Valley .. here's their number.
