1) I created one and gwenyfur created one for us as well...so we ended up with two
2) if you move things around it breaks the link and the images don't work anylonger...so we had one where we could move stuff around...and one where nothing should get moved around....

Guys we have WAY to many pg acct for pets!! Is there a reason for this???? Something I don't understand??? I have we have three diff acct.The one I gave here is the one for team grace, then there is one for "not done graphics"

Then there is the one Z has, is that one just for the "pets" and cf background??? Won't give that out Z, you can if you want. Please can we get this down to one or even two??? Toooo confusing, splain PLEASE!!!! To much for this "old" one to handle..............or at the very least use this time as a time to start over with a clean slate.

with the changes taking affect with tht eCF rollover this is especially the time to do this. what I do with my personal PB is I have a folder for those that are really important not to move (such as my profile pics and siggys and stuff) then I have others sorted by category such as holidays, good day/greetings, friendship etc. I think we could erally use a total makeover for the CFPetRESCUER account and consolidate some of the folders so ther are not so many pages to have to flip through and while doing this reorganize them in a more logical way.

I think the bottom folder (cfpets) is a good example of how I would organize a file/folder by grouping all the pets (just the pets by themselves) into one file and then having a subfolder for each pet so that we can go there and simply pick out the ones we want to work with and the colors that we wish.

I have a bunch more on my hard drive that I am currently erasing the background on each and plasing all of each type of pet onto a single colored square so that when anyone using GIMP (I still cannot figure that out) but anyway if you are using GIMP and use it to remove the background, this way there will only be one background behind all those that are the same species with all three stages and a variety of colors to choose from so at most you may need to remove 12 backgrounds to get all of them 'unlocked' from the backgrounds. unfortunately I do not have a program that allows me to save a file with the background as opaque or see through but I wish I did or if someone does have such a program and is inclined to so so if they could upload a sample of some of the pets to the CFpetRESCUERS account for the rest of us to use that would be cool. I am saving my work that I jsut explained in two formats one is just for on my pc called mic format or microsoft image composer shich basically is a work in process so that I can then go and copy whatever pet I want and the background is already removed and saved that way. the only way to load this onto the PB though is to save it as a jpg or other format that PB accepts.

ok this is getting too long now.....

any comments on what we can do to consolidate the petrescuer account while CF is shut down? do we want to designate one person to organize it so we dont trip over each other? even if some are linked up, with the changeover we could (at least in our own minds) chalk up any broken links to the upgrade.

I was wondering this myself...broken links not PB. Too much going on for me to deal with any of that, lol!!!

Why don't you leave everything alone in our PB acct. Wait and see what changes take place here, then hope cf links in pb will be ok, just a thought, have to much to do to worry about PB at this time.

just to be certain are we concolidating everything into the CFpetRESCUERS account? and if so shall we close out the other accounts? this brings also the question of bandwidth per account I have the pro PB and it allows continuos unlimited bandwidth so if there are a lof of us using and posting the images (on siggy avatars and guestbooks as well as threads etc) then there may come a time we may have to concider upgrading to pro. it presently costs $25 a year which I think is really cheap for all that it provides - more room, bandwidth, and a lot greater sense of security that the images arent going to be xed out due to excessive bandwidth.

I have a paypal account and if others here also have paypal we could all pitch in and one person go ahead and purchase the pro for all of us - I can give at least $5 if there are 5 of us willing to go in on it.

also I am currently copying all graphics and how to threads to front page on my pc though I already did this thread so these last few posts arent on it and anything over the weekend between now and the shut down will also not be on it but I will have the bulk of the info.

yeah I figured there may be some info in all of these threads that might be worth holding onto since they are a bit 'scattered' much like the PB account. -- here is an idea also -- like you said the more peeps we have sharing one account the more disorganized it can be - so why not have a folder for each of us to use (with our name on it) to keep our own work kind of as a personal portfolio, then also those that are there and finished can be moved to the 'finished' folder.

wow are these really the pets we will be uploading / using here? does this mean all of the old pets are going to be wiped out? all of our work scrambling to save all these links and stuff....oh my my head is spinning!!!!

ROFLOL, we're just not sure what Lee has chose with these yet. This is where the program we have now came from...they have just added up-grades/new programs to their system that will be implemented here.

Who knows what they will look like, the terminology that will be used or the options that he will chose. Obviously neither does Admin...this must be the final that they'll be working on tonight. Pray, pray, pray
