Generally, it's actually that they just keep schtum. They can't defend it. They probably don't actually like it but Trump knows best so I'm sure no banks will work very well with no accountability.

Frankly, it seems that sometimes folks are insinuating that they think any large business or person with more than a million in assets should not have any accountability if y'all want America to grow.

Of all the myriad attacks from the right on the federal government, IMO, it's those directed toward the CFPB that show how shallow and vacuous this new right-wing economic populism really is. These folks supposedly hate the big banks and their bailouts and they supposedly hate the "globalists" meeting in Davos, but who do they think the CFPB goes after?

What Trump wants coincides with what his voters want. Which is why they support him and don't object to his decisions.
