Occasionally, when I have done all my day's work and still an hour of time until I need to catch my train, I browse forums from my workplace at the IT headquarters of an international bank. Moderate private internet usage is permitted there as long as work performance doesn't suffer, so there...
Occasionally, though, you'll have to wait a bit longer while you see the page "please wait - your request is being scanned for security reasons". Random testing for potentially dangerous websites I trust. Need to talk to the guys in the firewall admin department...
...last time I came here from my workplace, lo and behold!... every single page got scanned! Checking out just three interesting threads took me some 20 minutes!
Makes me wonder... paranoia? Change in ambient humidity? The second coming just around the corner? You decide...
