Oh good - more "The Apprentice" fans! (Thanks for setting up this thread!!!)

My favorites are Dee Snider and Adam Corolla - they appear to be the sharpest knives in the drawer. I don't have much use for any of the women 'cept for Patricia and Dayana. Who said women can't be both beautiful and smart?

Honorable mention to Penn Gillette (who we knew would do well with show-business-related projects) and to Victoria Gotti (who seemed smart and capable and who wouldn't have done well in a show-business-related project).

BTW, why did the first project have to be show business-related again? Because you just know that people who aren't in show business are going to get fired first.

Donald Trump has never been one of my favorite people. And I am sure that Victoria Gotti knows that the choice of project was what got her eliminated, more than any of the choices being made by the people on her team. And Penn knows that going forward, the show business people will be expendable. The women are going to wish they had Victoria Gotti's business experience, and they will be stuck with models and actresses. We'll see what Patricia and Dayana can do, but I am predicting that one of the men will win the whole thing.

That was the second project. The first was the sandwich shop.

Yes - Victoria Gotti survived the sandwich shop project - see what I mean? But you're right - the show business project was the second project, not the first. Which gave us the opportunity to see that Victoria is smart. Entitled (chatting on the phone), but smart. But playing nice with smart people involves harnessing their abilities without ticking them off, something that loud-mouthed shrew Lisa Lampanelli just couldn't pull off. (And Victoria seemed easy-going and EASY to get along with, too.) Patricia even said it - Lisa ddn't ASK anyone what they felt they CAN do, she just arbitrarily handed out the "assignments." Patricia was a much better team leader because she respected the team members more, seeking their input on how they could contribute.

I couldn't care less whether Victoria Gotti can spell "medieval." And I don't think Lisa should have cared, either. She should have admitted to Victoria that she didn't know where she'd feel most comfortable, and if Victoria wanted to perform she should have let her. Because now she's eliminated someone who could have been of enormous use later on. No wonder Victoria graciously wished Dayana, "Good luck." They are all going to need it, because the other projects aren't going to involve performing.

Where is Sunryse?

Anyway, Dayana didn't let me down last night - she was Project Manager (window display for Ivana Trump clothing and jewelry) and the women won this time! She's young and inexperienced, and it absolutely exhausted her, but she is very smart - yay!

I really do think that George was the right person to leave - he didn't seem to be able to quite keep up, and I think he was ready to go home. (Lou Ferrigno definitely isn't ready to go home yet.)

I certainly hope that Dee Snider can continue to participate. I disagree with Arsenio about Mr. Snider needing to go home, because the men don't need Mr. Snider's (broken) finger - they need his little gray cells, which are working just fine!

Oh, and I am really beginning to look forward to the day when Lisa Lampanelli is fired, because I caught the 1-hour recap of last week's show, and I wasn't aware that Victoria Gotti did the women's hair and makeup for the Medieval Times show, and sewed (repaired?) costumes, and cleaned up horse manure. She stepped up, just not for Lisa (the production manager assignment Lisa gave her), because Lisa ticked her off. I no longer doubt that Victoria could probably have done that assignment - she just didn't feel like it. I can't say that I blame her.

I was disappointed with Victoria. I wanted Victoria to come out with both barrels blazing but she didn't. I really believe Victoria could have slayed Lisa, but she just didn't choose to. To me it was like she gave up. I don't think Victoria felt she could "win" being with the women. They were all intimidated by her. I think she's one that would have done better with a mixed team.

*sigh*...they fired Sulu...that's all I got's to say...LOL!

I think if I had been Victoria and had been faced with having to "play nice" with Lisa Lampanelli, that I would have rather gone back to what I was already doing. Whatever that might have been. Some things just aren't worth my time, either.

She doesn't like to fight. I like that. :)

I liked George but him calling out Lou in front of Ivanka..I mean that was rude to just start going on about how Lou has no interest in the fashion part..it was weird. It is his place to exhibit trust in your team and put him to work...I knew he was going home.

I love Dayna and Arsenio but think the guys seem to work better. Lisa has to go! Debbie G. I think she is in this for all the wrong reasons. I believe she just wants to reinvent herself. Aubrey on the other hand now strikes me as a strong driven contestant that could win this. She just doesn't ever sit back...Hopefully though she won't step on toes.

Yeah, I'm not sure I like Aubrey. She is a little too aggressive for me. For example, when someone else is the Project Manager, she always takes over. Why can't she simply perform the role that is assigned to her, or ask the Project Manager if she wants to do something else? IMO she doesn't know how to play nice with other people - she seems to always have to take over.

I'll say.

So Trump just HAD to get rid of Mike Andretti and Adam Corolla last night! He REFUSES to fire Lou Ferrigno and put the men (and maybe the rest of us) out of our misery...

About halfway through I started to get the feeling that Adam wanted to get fired.

Adam is so smart! I swear he is extremely intelligent!

What he was really saying (and I can't help but both admire, and agree) was, "If you're going to make me arbitrarily drag 2 people under the bus, when it wasn't their fault (that the Buick people were idiots, but I won't go there), then you might as well just fire me right now. Because I won't be able to work with these people if you make me do that!"

Because Trump was itching to fire Andretti, for some inexplicable reason, anyway. Carolla was at a loss to understand how they'd even lost in the first place, let alone why Andretti should be fired. But Trump doesn't like to fire people without having someone like Carolla to hide behind. Tough!

Christian Alphabet:

I used to love Celebrity Apprentice until the season with Annie Duke and Joan Rivers...left a bad taste in my mouth.

I missed that season, but it sounds pretty bad. Was Joan Rivers really that awful, though? Or was someone just giving her a hard time? I always "hoped" she was a decent person, though, but I knew the potential was always there that she'd be hell on wheels...

Trump disgusted me with his remarks on President Obama, of course and the way he treated Star Jones on the last one, by also inviting the woman who dated Star's ex-husband to be a simultaneous guest. That would be Nene Leakes, of course. You just don't do that! But Star was a perfect lady, even when Nene gave her some heavy-duty provocation!

Cannot wait to see what happens tonight. I believe Lou is on shaky ground. That race car dude didn't even want to be on the show,remember..he simply stepped into his sons shoes after their Indycar team lost Danny Wheldon...I think it is or was heavy on his heart. He seemed disconnected from the others and tasks from day 1.
I saw Aubrey on CNN..she looked nothing like she does on The Apprentice....thinking she didnt make it far now as it is prerecorded from months ago--

SparkyMaddie, I am glad to hear that maybe Aubrey isn't going to make it much further in this show, because I've decided I don't like her. I don't like the disrespectful tone she took with Tia (who is beautiful and doesn't look anywhere near as old as Aubrey said).

Whew! Anyway, Tia got fired. Lisa Lamparelli and Aubrey O'Day ate her alive in the board room, and the others followed their lead. Not even Patricia or Dayana said a word about firing Lisa, even though she'd written the losing ad campaign (and it wasn't the first time - she wrote the losing Medieval Times routine, too). Everybody wanted to fire Tia for approving it, because Lisa and Aubrey wanted Tia fired and those two had the biggest mouths!

So hopefully either Aubrey or Lisa will be next. I would like to see the day that one of the rest of them gets some backbone and wonders if they won't be better off without Lisa or Aubrey. Maybe Patricia or Dayana will realize that Lisa is all MOUTH, and will quietly suggest that Lisa should be fired...

Oh, and Penn Gillette is not at fault for not being able to work with Lou. I can see that. Penn worked well with the other Project Managers - Penn doesn't have to be in charge. I can see how working with Lou would be difficult. But yay - Lou wrote and starred in the winning "viral video" ad (above), and I agree that it was the best one, and really funny!
