  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

A quote from Dr. Charles A. Rice Book:

What is love, and who deserves it, but God; and yet, through forgiveness we should all come to know charity, for it is a gift; by way of, His sacrifice, mercy, and grace, which is love; and for this reason, we all deserve love because He gave it to us freely; but not without a price; and because of the price paid; Love endures.

If a person receives a gift, they neither deserve it and therefore somehow earned it, turning the grace of God into a wage for works, nor are they necessarily undeserving of the love that prompted the gift. God deserves our love, we love Him because He first loved us, not the other way around.

Yet in sin; what do we deserve? With no goodness of our own; neither through a deed that we offer even our faith; do we deserve this great love; but humbly can we except the offering of His forgiveness which is Love; and the love that I can offer seems so not enough; and so, it is difficult to consider that, “because He first love me” in that, after all much more does He do, after all I have done. I did not know Him before the “because He first loved me.” I came to know of His love much later.

The love He gave is a Grate Love, but the love I offer is a good love, but that, the Greatest Love of All is His enduring love (over and over again…), starting before ever, and that, continues forever and ever; or (endures).

I appreciate and respect your comment; Thank You.
