CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have celebrated as the heathen do in the past...You know...lots of green beer and irish whiskey...

I am the middle of three boys...but I have a county in TN that I am related to...the whole county has cousins...I have lived in the country as well as the city...so I am comfortable in either location...
I live in the south...I work around many rednecks as well as those from all over...
My favorite color is blue to silver blue
Sports? Well I ain't much of a fan...but I like all of them including soccer when my son is playing...football seems to get a little more of my attention. Maybe he will play next year.

Favorite food? I prefer stuff that doesn't move...and anything that I cook generally speaking turns out OK...fit for human consumption...that is about all...
I do have a hankering for a fresh fruit Savarin with a sabayon filling...but that is something that I need some time to make...something in short supply these days...
But my favorite meals are ones that someone has cooked just for me...
