You don't understand. I mean a CATHOLIC church, not a ROMAN Catholic Church. There's a difference.

Most people here define Catholic as the church based in Vatican City, which is, indeed, a truly Catholic faith. Of course, many others claim to be Catholic as well, including myself.

Apologies. However, to repeat a fellow poster:

Tell us what you mean by "catholic," and we'll tell you where to find a priest.

I echo this because the term does need to be defined further. Can the original poster please define the term?

So go to a church that you consider "catholic," and ask to speak to the priest. Simple.

Well, let's not jump too quickly down a rabbit hole. While that is, essentially, the proper course of action, there may be more to it than that since some factors are still unknown.

Since Roman Catholics, Lutherans, many [most?] Anglicans, Eastern Orthodox, and others regard themselves catholic Christians then you are going to need to be more specific if you don't mean Roman Catholic.

Some don't, but they are almost all Crypto-Calvinists/Presbyterians, who are all "Anglicans In Name Only" anyway and should just do the right thing and join a different church. The rest simply are misinformed and merely need to be educated better, a problem found in pretty much all Christian bodies really.

However, I fear the OP is gone, so perhaps this thread is dead. A pity; I was rather curious what was meant by "Catholic" as well.
