Catholics Voting for Barabbas

Fr. Ripperger (it sounds like him, I could be wrong) exhorts his parishoners in this homily that while "Barabbas" may be "Catholic" on paper, not to be fooled by this superficial quality. The Prodigal on the other hand, while stained with many sins, is closer to Christ in policy decisions than the Catholic "Barabbas" is.

As long as you are not likening Donald Trump to Jesus Christ. Barabbas was 'elected' in an election where the other candidate was Jesus. I hope you are NOT implying that Trump is Jesus.

So while I do not think it wrong to identify Biden with Barabbas, I think it would be a HUGE error to identify Trump with Jesus.

The video makes clear that Trump has faults, but that his agenda is closer to that of Christ than is that of "Barrabas".
