*Catholics Only* Trying to enjoy today

I need prayers I'm really irritated with someone right now, and really sucks because, not only is today Sunday, and I want to focus praying and meditating. But I had been having a really good day and have been really enjoying it until my thoughts dwelt on this person and what he said.

Please pray that I can turn back to enjoying today and Loving God, and rejoicing in His grace and mercy.

Sorry about all this.

I'm not complaining or anything but, I find it a bit embarrassing when I post a prayer request on here and all these Protestants respond, and very few Catholics do, it gives us a bad image.

Maybe we should try and get a new sub-forum on here, specifically for prayer requests where Protestants and non-Catholics are welcome.

Yeah that's fine, I'd really like that, I especially hope they get graces from doing that, that's not the problem. The problem is, there isn't enough Catholics praying for me, or for others, I want to see more Catholics praying for others on here.

I personally happily accept the prayers of anyone - be they Catholic , Protestant or Orthodox - as they are offered in support.

I also pray for others - no matter what 'label' is applied to them - but I don't always make a post back saying that I'm praying for them - in fact I rarely do.

Does the length of the list of people that respond to a request for prayers make any difference to the efficacy of those prayers ?

So I have to go clicking along to prevent a bad image that maybe I'm not praying. What ever happened to "When you pray, go into your room ...."? Does Matthew 6:6 not apply and I need to click something on my computer so everyone knows that Catholics are praying? A couple of years ago, a staunchly pro-SSPX media group slammed Pope Francis for preaching St. Matthew 6:6 and accusing of saying one should NEVER pray in public, one shouldn’t even in front of his or her own kids. I hope you’re not accusing me of arguing the opposite here.
