  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Catholic Charities in Arlington, VA have an adorable three year old boy name Daniel who was initially diagnosed mildly autistic who is in need of a home.  He is legally available for adoption.  He has been in foster care for five months and has shown remarkable improvement - going from a 10 to a 300 word vocabulary!

Daniel has to be "slowly" moved from his foster family to a permanent home - meaning there would need to be visits in his home over several weeks and then gradually move to weekend visits in your home.

I can't describe how beautiful this child is ... his picture shows a dark haired little boy with dark eyes and an adorable smile.  He is Caucasian/Asian Indian, 32 pounds, 38" tall.  He is about a year behind in motor and cognitive development but making rapid strides now that he's getting the help he needs.

They feel he would do best with a family that has a stay home parent.

If you are interested, please send me a message and I'll get you the number and person to call ...

In the meantime ... keep this little one in prayer :)
