The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. My opinion is he could be submitting to an evil spirit, God showed me when I drank and drugged I was submitting to the jezebel spirit, I had to chose which spirit I would submit to, the Holy Spirit or Jezebel.
As LNG as he is doping he is submitting to an evil spirit.

Yes woodpecker! I understand what your saying! The thing is i was delivered from alcohol at salvation. it felt demonic to me. when you r doing something against your will and cant stop?? im in early recovery for another addiction and dang...what a fool i was. im not letting go of oppression idea tho. im seeking a ministry that specializes in that. God knows whats wrong. ya know???

Amen, keep on with The Lord, He loves you so much, we are sinners in need of grace until we are home with lord. Everyone who walks this earth has a battle to fight with Satan, but we never fight him alone, God and His angels are on our side.

The lord cast out demons to prove that anything through him is possible one thing that I believe many christe followers have forgotten is even when we are submitted to sin we can cast away the devil and demons by this one powerful word that they hate the most you ready its thie "SATAN I REBUKE YOU IN THE NAME JESUS CHRIST" But I agree without him knowing and it seems fun to him but thats how demons and satan work lust the things that the body wants and at the end the dark has control. when i was a drinker and been sober for almost a yr now it was a self pitty and dark world i hated god and constantly hated the world around me until one day when i attempted to take my life i didnt want to just something the devil had me feeling that i was no better here then anywhere else. instead the lord granted me another chance which i humbel myself before him. Pray sister and pray and talk to your partner.

We are in a battle! Demons exist and satan is out to destroy! but Christ paid for that kinda stuff on the cross! I am delighted that god brought you back from such depression and addiction. lets all pray for each other! Wonderful storie! ptlord! For you!
