I understand. I don't define nationwide as "specific to California".
It was a borderline nonsequitor
Nice bunch of cherry-picked pictures there. However, your claim that they killed a police officer is false. FACT CHECKED: false.
Not defeated if it is still going on. We see reality. We live reality. Not "defeated" if it didn't even happen.
You have to stick with reality when dealing with these things.

Those photos were not cherry picked, I just googled and they came up in that order. There are TONS of pictures like those where the Trump supporters are seen spraying them and hitting them and attacking them with spray, baseball bats, stolen police shields and batons, and even the flagpoles of Trump flags and even Blue Lives Matter flags.Nice bunch of cherry-picked pictures there. How many states exist in the United States in America? Not just California. Chicago too: Chicago blighted by shoplifting because shoplifters are only prosecuted if they steal over $1000 | Daily Mail Online
It serves those shop owners right for believing they could run a business in areas where democrats are routinely elected. Expect New York to follow suit.

Let's also not overlook the fact that your guy losing an election is not a reason for a riot. Being executed in the streets by authorities definitely is, and also carries with it consequences.

That's who you support. You are defending the criminals in that event.
Oh, and thanks for correcting me - not 1 officer died but actually 3 - thanks for setting that straight. THREE Officers, DEAD from the insurrection by Trump's supporters in their quest to hang Mike Pence and kill Nancy Pelosi!

Gee out here in California we have something called Misdemeanors. That procecutors are not prosecuting shoplifting as a felony unless the value of the items involved excedes $1000 is hardly news and seems like a reasonable policy.
You did bother to actually read at least the first couple of lines of the article you cided, or did you?
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. Phillip K DickPerception is reality. One person's reality may be different than someone else's. We need to show tolerance for the reality of others. The definition of reality is also evolving.

Or, as the general assumption of our justice system is usually stated, they didn't do anything because one is innocent until proven guilty. You might want to sit in an a junior high civics class.Actually, I went even further down than you did:
"The State's Attorney's office said that so far this year, its prosecutors have reviewed and issued 38 total charges for retail theft in areas of Chicago including the Magnificent Mile and Streeterville. Of that number, 18 were approved as felony charges, 10 were prosecuted and six were convicted."
6 out of 38 convicted. And those were among just the ones that made it to the prosecutors. The rest got away with what they did.
That headline is contradicted by the article which said that felony charges only apply to theft > $1000. Misdemeanor charges still apply and are usually dealt with at the local level, county or city. To be prosecuted, the thieves still need to be caught and arrested. Not just California.
