That reminds me of a cult that said after me and my wife die we will join back up in heaven and have plenty of sex. Then we would populate our own planet with these children which in turn will die and have plenty of sex in heaven with thier spouses and populate their own planet after they have become gods like me and my wife.

Does this sound familiar to anybody  .

Well I am off to populate my own planet so I will see you later  .

I have a headace - to much of  I guess.

Forgive me for being critical but how does one mistake Eros for Agape when discussing the Lord?

I don't know.

I hate to say this, certainly don't want to come across as "better than" or "smarter than" other CF participants, but sometimes when I go to discussions not on the Reformed thread I can't help but wonder what kind of teaching do these folks get. Seriously - there are some really distorted views of the Gospel and Scripture out there. I realize that many feel that Reformed/Calvinist doctrine is a distortion (of course, they would be wrong;)) but I can't help but wonder sometimes, do people actually listen to themselves and what they're saying???

I'm probably asking for trouble here - but I can't help but wondering. The referenced thread is so "out there," how come the moderators haven't closed it for review?

edie
Well, although it is really "out there", it is in the Christian Forums > Christians Only Section > Theology > Christian Philosophy & Ethics section therefore the "out there" opionion/beliefs don't fall within any denomination so a more liberal view of beliefs would be allowed. Also, I haven't looked close enough to see if the op conforms to the Nicene Creed.

Just my opionion.

Ah........No A "CRANK" in UK parlance is a derogatory term used to describe someone who has "Gone off the wall?" "Lost his marbles?" "One bullet shy in magazine of 20?"
