Can you name 5 things that Harris will make great?

Amazing answer! I think she just out-Harrised Harris.
Jake Tapper was once a pretty good white house correspondent for ABC. He's went downhill at CNN. Hopefully he's tired of carrying the Democrats' water, and will keep after them.

I'm surprised Tapper asked that. He couldn't have possibly expected to get an answer, not from Pelosi, not from Harris, not from anyone. He'll probably get reprimanded for asking a real question.

Why not mention Trump?
combined with her other positions and qualities.
Because "she's not Trump!" Doesn't put food on the table, unless it's handouts.

What are her "positions and qualities?"

Neither Trump nor Harris put food on the table. Unless you're into politicians taking credit for your own hard work.

I'm not Trump does provide some other very valuable things tho.

I'll take your answer as a "No, I cannot tell you 5 things that Harris will make great as POTUS "

Nancy Pelosi couldn't do it either...

Why not mention Trump?

Not being Trump is literally the best thing about her, and well worth the vote for her, combined with her other positions and qualities.
Not even close. She has NO policies. It's all platitudes. Listen to her speak.

"I grew up in a middle class family".

"I'm going to grow the middle class".

"I care about the hopes, aspirations, and dreams."

"Let's be unburdened by what has been."

"I grew up understanding the children of the community are the children of the community...."

I believe in an "opportunity economy" where you can not only get by but get ahead".

Most of these are on auto-repeat the few times we have seen her speak.

She doesn't need to make anything great. She just needs to work to make people's lives better.
And she will do that how? Vibes? Joy?

Without a vision the people perish.

Nancy Pelosi couldn't do it either...
Q: "I get that she's from a middle-class family, it's great, and I get that she feels people's pains, great, but what about like here are the five things I'm going to do directly for you. Does she need to be doing more of that?"

Answer from Pelosi:
"Well, she'll be doing some of that tomorrow once she'll put forth her economic plan, but people like to have a connection to whoever is running for office, that they share their experience, that they understand their lives, and I think that's what she is establishing, but I never give advice to presidential candidates. The wisdom that they have, the astute political astuteness that they have to become the presidential candidate says they know something about the market out there, but I do think that the one issue in terms of the cost of living, people want to hear something very specific. She is saying that in that ad, but also tomorrow in her economic plan.

I have no complaint about how she is going forward."

Maybe she and Kamala Harris are related. Because she said absolutely NOTHING here. Platitudes.

I listened to Harris. There was nothing specific at all. Just more of the "I was raised in a middle class family", "I believe in an opportunity economy" stuff.

Are we going to have one of these threads on a regular basis until the election (at which point the wording will change to: 'What has Harris done since being elected...')?

As a non American, my top three are support for Ukraine, support for NATO and support for the Paris Accord.

For you guys....I dunno, tackling the housing shortage and child care.

Keeping things on the present course will work. The economy is doing good.
Let the Trump tax cut exspire.
Allow the DOJ and states to continue with their investigations into Trump and his co-conspirators.
Pass law to keep the Supreme Court in check.
Pass laws limiting the power of the President.

No, what is most likely is that after the election, we will be hearing nonstop unfounded Trump fear and agitation as well as regret that VP Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden were rightly booted out of office.

We cannot do this 4 year disaster under Biden/Harris again. Biden confirmed yet again yesterday on a talk show that his decisions were her decisions and that he delegated much to her.

What needs to be tackled here is restoration of free speech, and policies that benefit our country economically and socially.

Even MN governor Tim Walz recently said "we can't take four more years of this!"

Whaddya know, I agree with him.

You can't pass laws on powers given by the Constitution. Also, how is the Supreme Court not in check? No impeachments yet.
