  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Can you imagine what Heaven is like,
With its' Pearly Gates and streets of gold?
As you stand waiting before the Book of Life
An angel speaks and you are told.

"Enter in, oh servant of the Lord,
He's prepared a room for you."
And the distant sounds of singing praise,
Draws you near and you worship too.

Can you imagine the Holy One,
Who dwelt in your heart and longed to see?
There before His throne, your Redeemer, your Saviour
The Lamb of God who set you free.

Could you feel His holy presence?
Would you in fear humbly bow?
Or rejoice in jubilation.
Would you dance before Him somehow?

Now is the time to get ready,
Not knowing when you leave this earth.
Receive His forgiveness, ask Him into your heart
And experience the joy of rebirth.

This far surpasses my skills. How long did the poem take to
make?

Hi Pathfinder - Thank you for your response. The Lord gives me something to think about so I start with this. Sometimes He gives me just the title, or sometimes He gives me a few lines to start. It's a gift He gave me and I'm trying to be sensitive to the Spirit to write these poems. I would say from start to finish and getting all the mistakes out, about 2 to 3 weeks. Harder poems would take me a month before it's finished. I hope you enjoy it.
