can we consolidate a bit please?

we have all these pointless threads about "last film you watched," "name a movie with ___," "movie with ___ in title" threads and they really aren't a discussion of movies. can't they just have their own little forum or made into stickies at top so we can dance around other threads that have some substance to them? any other takers?

That's a good idea! Call it the "Movie Games" subforum.

It's a good idea ... and maybe it would encourage more people to discuss actual movies and notice 4 or 5 threads already started on the movie they want to talk about.
