I don't know - some of those "adolescent computer geeks" have bested a lot of pretty smart people in some pretty high tech industries, corporations, and even the federal government over the past 20 years or so; and it's taking a lot of very smart people just to keep up with their destructive shenanigans...
They wouldn't even have to be smarter. They would just have to not be complete idiots.
Even if they were unaware of Anonymous, the quote itself doesn't fit at all with the Christian ideals that the Tea Party espouses. "We are legion" is a reference to the demon in Mark, 5:9:
And He (Jesus) asked him (the man), "What is thy name?" And he answered, saying, "My name is Legion: for we are many."
And what about "We do not forgive"? Isn't forgiveness the whole basis of the Christian religion?
I figuredSarcasm my dear friend, Sarcasm.
You are right that reason that people who pull shenanigans for fun probably have some in their groups that are very good at doing so.
At least the Tea Partiers know what their platform is and didn't fall for some community organizer preaching "change we can believe in" with no substance.
Give me 100 democratic voters and give me 100 tea partiers.. I am willing to be the Tea Partiers are more informed.

Which, "Anonymous" as a group or "We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us." as a slogan?I've never known that to be associated with 4chan. Or at least, only with 4chan. Wikipedia said it's kind of a general usage term.
Yeah, you can make out those words in the traces of his spray-paint graffiti that still mar the rocks of Bolivia. What a scamp that Che was!Either way, I don't see anything wrong with it. I mean, mass murderer Che Guevara said "Yes we can".

If nothing else, however, it does show that the natives are restless----not to mention angry.
There's got to be more to this. Doesn't make sense at all.
I suppose liberals probably find that as disturbing as conservatives find "We're here, we're queer, we're going to corrupt your children" disturbing. (I saw that motto chanted by Queer Nation activists outside a Catholic church once.)
Last time the mob was falling for "change" with no substance.
I believe that provides an insightful analysis into the inner workings of the minds of members of the "Tea Party" quite well!Mad as a hatter
Although the name "Mad Hatter" was undoubtedly inspired by the phrase "as mad as a hatter", there is some uncertainty as to the origins of this phrase. Mercury was used in the process of curing pelts used in some hats, making it impossible for hatters to avoid inhaling the mercury fumes given off during the hat making process; hatters and mill workers thus often suffered mercury poisoning, causing neurological damage, including confused speech and distorted vision. Hat making was the main trade in Stockport, near where Carroll grew up, and it was not unusual then for hatters to appear disturbed or confused; many died early as a result of mercury poisoning."
