Can someone please help me out?

My screen is too wide. I have to pan side to side as well as up & down. I leave here with a headache. It is just too much of a chore.

Can someone tell me when this problem will be fixed?

I just haven't got an answer & would like to know if possible.

By the way, I meant to mark this as critical. I can't hang out here till it's fixed. It just makes me feel ill. It's very hard on the head & eyes.

That really does not tell me much. Especially when I'm struggling to read as is now with the too wide screens. Why not just give me a direct answer?

Short answer is that, according to nexia's post in that thread, the scrollbar problem is supposed to have been fixed today. I hope it has been, but I dunno.

I was ready to lay the smackdown on you. I can barely read a post without feeling nauseous let alone a whole thread to slog through for an answer!

So its in the works to be corrected then?

Because its still too wide. I just stopped in after 2 days to check... still not a place I can hang out till its fixed. It just kills me.

Have you tried one of the other two skins? They're supposed to be proportional/scaling, and they may work for you where the default doesn't. You can now change which skin you want to use in your UserCP.

Yep. I'm using Moody Sky. Its still too wide but it is a lot better.

if any of the new style is too wide for your monitor, it is because you use an old monitor, we can't always fix these... i created these new styles to fit the majority of displays, but larger to 960 pixels... what is 85% of the internet browsers.. the problem here is the banners... if you are a site subscriber you have no banners displayed on the site and you can minimize the display to 800 pixels wide... that is my only suggestion...

Michie, what are your technical specs? What's your display set to (800x600?), and which browser do you use?

Using either of the skins, there is plenty of room to fit the entire page on the screen using 800X600 resolution. The problem is with the borders on the left and the right (in Moody Sky, they're just blue strips with nothing in them. If they were half as large, the whole page would fit.

tapero's having this same issue...cleared her cache, her cookies...nada still having to scroll left to right and back again...
