I need help with a Wordpress site. I have some basic knowhow, but I really need someone (or some links that are less confusing than Wordpress's documentation lol) to help me get this site working right? Please?

Sorry, but I know nothing about Wordpress. Isn't there a forum dedicated to Wordpress? You might have better luck checking them out.I need help with a Wordpress site. With wordpress you can normally install theme from the Admin Panel.
but first a few quick questions.
1) Are you running this on your own domain or is it running from the WordPress.com site?
2) Are you experienced with PHP / CMS coding? (You'll need that to fully write your own theme)
The normal way to modify / install a theme is login as the Administrator, go to your Dashboard -> Appearance.
You can then either select from the Available Themes or Browse for New Themes. (Note to help keep your site Secure Remove Unused Themes as they can provide vectors to attack)
Now after you've found a Basic Theme / Layout you like, you can select the Editor
This will allow direct editing for the CSS file and also the PHP Files for the Templates / Theme.
Monitor files under your WP installation for changes. When a change occurs, be notified via email. This plugin is a fork of WordPress File Monitor.
What's the current theme you're using ?
Send me a PM with the site URL, and I'll see what I can do.
I'm doing some coding for work right now so I won't be able to fully look / change any files right now, but give me a day or two & I should be able to provide you what needs to be changed, and instructions on how to change it.
