They give consent when they have sex. And if they claim not to give consent to their own body-because the egg released is their own body- then they can choose not to have sex. You don't ask your own body for consent, you control it with your brain. The same way you control what you eat and how you drive. So they should try using their brains and not get pregnant in the first place.Reality is that consequence is not the same as consent.
A sperm or an ovum are not a human because a human is an organism and neither sperm nor ovum are an organism. As I said, I want YOUR answer.
Can you provide one or not?
All living beings need oxygen. That's the point.that's why oxygen bound to hemoglobin flowing through the umbilicus is necessary
Go and punch a stranger in the face, or rob a bank and see the kind of consequence you get.gives me no understanding of your position.
Any time you act out a behaviour it elicits a possible outcome, either positive or negative. That something is a possible outcome does not mean people are consenting to the outcome and are locked into that consent.
I was under the impression that the breath of life is required for all human beings to live a live independent of their mother's wombGod did not breath into our nostrils in this manner yet we all have the breath of life from Him.
This does nothing to explain your position. Are you able to articulate why you believe my response to be illogical?Go and punch a stranger in the face, or rob a bank and see the kind of consequence you get.
Again, irrelevant to consent. Consent is the act of giving permission. Simply engaging in an act that has a possible outcome is not the same as giving permission. Do you disagree with this point?Any time you act out a behaviour it elicits a possible outcome, either positive or negative.
No. Consent is giving permission. That takes a conscious act. If they were giving consent there would not be not be an issue with the resultant pregnancy. Since there is an issue it is an indication no consent was given. You can't simply claim "consent" by fiat. They give consent when they have sex. And if they claim not to give consent to their own body-because the egg released is their own body- then they can choose not to have sex. You don't ask your own body for consent, you control it with your brain. The same way you control what you eat and how you drive. Go and behave in the way I suggested and you'll find out...nothing more sobering than reality. This does nothing to explain your position. Are you able to articulate why you believe my response to be illogical?
I disagree. We consent whenever we put a thought into action, regardless if we weigh the possible outcome of our action. Decide to have sex=can't be bothered to use contraception (pleasure comes first)=get pregnant=it was an "accident" so I'll just have an abortion. Does that sound logical to you?Again, irrelevant to consent. Consent is the act of giving permission. Simply engaging in an act that has a possible outcome is not the same as giving permission. Do you disagree with this point?
Go and behave in the way I suggested and you'll find out...nothing more sobering than reality.
So that would be a "No" you can not articulate your point. I believe we are done here.Go and behave in the way I suggested and you'll find out...nothing more sobering than reality.
Why should I look at your biological "facts" if you won’t look at mine.Is this response like your "laugh" at my attempt to provide you with factual information about some life forms?

I articulated it and you restated an illogical argument not based in reality. So that would be a "No" you can not articulate your point. I believe we are done here.
So your claim is that anytime we perform an action we "consent" to any possible outcome from that action? This is your understanding of consent?I disagree. We consent whenever we put a thought into action, regardless if we weigh the possible outcome of our action. Decide to have sex=can't be bothered to use contraception (pleasure comes first)=get pregnant=it was an "accident" so I'll just have an abortion. Does that sound logical to you?
In what post did you articulate it? Yet again I ask you to explain what was illogical about it?I articulated it and you restated an illogical argument not based in reality.
.... very good.
In the general meaning of consent, which is permission, yes. "consent" by your definition is a legal term. Do people sign contracts before they have sex? I would think not.So your claim is that anytime we perform an action we "consent" to any possible outcome from that action? This is your understanding of consent?
