Can you show me a test which has a high success rate when applied to the Bible, but has a very low success rate when applied to the texts of other religions?Good expectation, it seems.
Scripture has been proven totally truth for always, even to when heavens and earth are no more.
It has been put to the test, many many many tests, for thousands of years, and remains true , just like the Author of All Scripture, and the One From Whom All Life Flows.
Where's the statistical data for this? You can't just throw a percentage around willy-nilly without backing up your claim. It's more like 70%. The number of abortions is minuscule compared to the number of miscarriages.
The "70%" is a link, if you click on it, you'll find the article, and they cite many sources, providing links and everything.Where's the statistical data for this? You can't just throw a percentage around willy-nilly without backing up your claim.
Link, please.According to a recent article online, 100% of pregnancies in some areas ended fatally. In same article, a qualified nurse looking for a job was contacted by the hospital admin, and was told she was perfect for the job - working in newborn nursery at the hospital -
but sadly she was not needed - they had had NO LIVE BIRTHS in months, due apparently to the jab or someone living with someone who got the jab/shedding.
You are correct. Legally enforced puritanism is the objective. But it's a fool's errand and a fantasy. Homo sapiens is a highly sexual species. I doubt there was ever a time when sexual behavior would meet conservative religious standards. I have an antique medical textbook from 1902. It quotes some early prevalence studies which suggested that 10% of the US population--men and women both-- was infected with syphilis. This is much more widespread than was ever the case with HIV. And it doesn't include countless more people with gonorrhea and other STIs such as chlamydia, genital herpes, HPV, and bacterial vaginosis, that weren't yet recognized. Of course, the discovery of penicillin in 1928 was a game changer. But the continued high prevalence of syphilis was why many states--trying to prevent congenital syphilis--required a couple be blood tested before getting a marriage license. The conclusion I have come to is that the enforcement of conservative sexual ethics is the real goal of the pro-life movement or is at minimum co-equal with stopping abortion.
Let's say that's (even) correct. The conclusion I have come to is that the enforcement of conservative sexual ethics is the real goal...
At what point does it become a human and not just a ball of cells?Let's say that's (even) correct.
Truth does not flow from falsehood. There is no, "look they're wrong, and so _________." Nothing right flows from wrong. There is only, "ignore that, start over".
So, we start completely clean afresh over.
Science says, even an unborn baby is a (developing) human life. Human life is protected?
That’s between you and that mouse in your pocket. As for me, no, I will not ignore the reality of the anti abortion movement and pretend it’s something other than what it is.So, we start completely clean afresh over.
this is not a pro at all.Pros:
1. Abortion due to rape.
It’s not a question of biology. It’s a question of law. When are the unborn considered to be “persons” in the legal sense, with attendant constitutional rights? In the absence of any agreement on this point, the only sensible response is to compromise. The average gestation is 40 weeks. Split it down the middle. From fertilization to 20 weeks, abortion is a private medical decision between a woman and her doctor. After 20 weeks, the states can designate the unborn as legal persons and prohibit abortion unless it’s absolutely required for reasons of maternal health. Like all compromises, it’s not perfect. But it’s rational, workable, and fair. And pro-life interests can continue working to change hearts and minds regarding the personhood of the unborn.Science says, even an unborn baby is a (developing) human life. Human life is protected?
do you think driving drunk is wrong? why or why not? It’s not a question of biology. It’s a question of law. When are the unborn considered to be “persons” in the legal sense, with attendant constitutional rights?
Abortion is a very delicate topic.
Murder on top of rape is not a pro. It is sin doubled.1. Abortion due to rape.
That is what adoption is for.2. Abortion because of the situation they are living at the moment.
So harm people early on to save them from possible harm later, all the while not knowing if they will be harmed later or if they would have, if given the choice, have picked life. Instead make the decision for them and rip off their arms and legs and crush their skull early.3. Abortion because it saves the unborn baby from many dramas and tortures.
If you know your baby has a serious health condition I can tell you that knowingly having its arms and legs ripped off and its skull crushed will in no way help the mother or fathers emotional state of mind after such a diagnoses. What does help is being the best mother you can be to your unborn child and holding the baby after birth for as long as it lives or if it was still born. Using the term 'abortion' it is all too easy to disconnect from what it really is. Which again is ripping off limbs and crushing skulls and sucking those pieces out. Abortion is not gentle, it is not pleasant, it is barbaric gruesome murder. Is that really how you would wish to end the life of your sick baby? Or rather hold them after birth so they know they are loved as they pass. Which way do you think will truly help those parents best? I say this as someone who did lose a baby to a serious birth defect.4. Abortion due to serious medical and health reason.
how do you know if an unborn baby (you will say a fetus), is not a person? you're taking the chance of killing a person. if the mother's life is not on the line, it is immoral to commit abortion because you are risking death of another humanCut to the chase. What’s your point?
This is one of the areas of the forum that allows us non-Christians to post.also for the people saying that an unaborn baby isn't human, isn't this a christian forum?
