Can not save avatar changes 7/18/08

Today, Friday 7/18/08, I could not change the outfits on my avatar.

I do have a lot of items, some of which I wouldn't mind selling, but most of which I do in fact use because I keep outfits for two characters.

I clicked on the usual stuff: User CP, Edit Avatar, Update Living Avatar, edit avatar, selected an item out of the list, Remove item, Save Avatar.

It normally would show the old avatar on the top and the newly revised avatar/characters (like with nothing on or with the new background or outfits), but this time it does not show the new revision, it just says:

"Avatar Saved Click here to view and edit your avatar."

*sigh*

Any help would be appreciated just because I like to change our outfits every now and then...my hair...our background...

Any kind of update or response at all?

I would be more than happy to PM a mod or someone else if that's what I need to do, but I think some sort of response would be nice.

Thank you Sir Adrian for at least saying something so I know someone is looking at this. I know it's not important in the big scheme of things, but it is a thing that I do rather enjoy. I was thinking of deleting my dollie and starting over!

Anyway I do think I may have figured out what the error is related to. I have a background called "Forest" and for some reason I can delete or layer any item in my Living Avatar but I can't do a THING with that background! I try to click on it and then remove item--it won't budge. I try to layer it up or down, and it won't. I think that is the item that has an error and it might "release" me if I could get rid of it off my current avatar.

Well I look forward to hearing from you. It's creeping up on a week and I can't envision my dear hubby in a tuxedo for week...really...

I'm having the same problem FaithfulWife. I lost my living avatar.
