Is it possible to destroy God’s plans for your life? If we make a mistake that causes us to unknowingly go against God’s plan for our lives will He really redirect us? I am a new Christian and my biggest fear is this. God revealed something about my future to me. I have faith it was Him. However, I made a choice recently and im starting to believe it was a mistake. I know God is merciful, But I still feel like a failure. Like God is going to give up on me. And now I’m going to lose my destiny... I know we say that if its meant to be it will be, but I read of so many people in the Bible who literally died because they didn’t make the right choice. Please help. Thank you ❤️

I have good news and, I have bad news. This is what God says

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

God is the God of second chances. The only way you can frustrate the grace of God is to reject Christ. Read John Bunyan's Pilgrims Progress, because there you will get a good idea of what the Christian journey is like. God many have a plan A, but if that fails, there is a plan B, C, D, E, F and so on. The Christian journey is like my GPS. If I take a wrong turn, it "recalculates" to get me on the right track. If a GPS can do that, I reckon God can do it better! It doesn't matter whether it is plan A, B, C, D, or E, the objective is to get you to the gates of heaven and get them opened to you.

Remember, the Scripture says that a man may plan his way, but God guides his steps. If a plan is ruined, it might be our plans and not God's. The truth is no matter how many times we strike out, God has an infinite number of alternatives that will carry the same success for us.

No, it is not possible. Throughout the Bible it affirms the truth that God is sovereign over every aspect of your life. The Bible holds both God's sovereignty and our human responsibility in tension with each other in such a way that we can say that our decisions are important and we should be thoughtful, prayerful, and seek wise counsel about the big decisions, but we can also make them knowing that we are not preventing or thwarting God's plans or purposes from being carried out in our lives. Because of this we don't have to be frozen in fear of making the wrong decision, but we also cannot and should not be careless in our decision-making. I hope this helps!

By being evil, sure. God made Saw, the King over Israel, and he became an arrogant rebellious King who put up monuments to himself.

Here's the key that I think everyone should learn. Whatever you do that messes up G-d plan, G-d is G-d. He can come up with a new plan.

Say G-d wanted me to become president of this country. If I acted shamefully and ruined that plan, yeah I might not be president, but G-d can always use me somewhere else. He'll find another plan.

That's all you need to remember. Whatever you mess up, G-d can fix and make a new dream for your life.

We are natural screw ups, constantly missing the mark, taking the wrong road, not listening to God etc etc etc.

Look at Jonah, how he screwed up, yet God brought him back on track. or Peter, walking on water, not, opening his big mouth at the transfigeration, cutting an ear off and denying Jesus and he was brought back on course.

If you've made a mistake tell God and start seeking to put it right.
