Can I ask for prayers - losing faith

Hello all,

I am new here. I have no christian friends so no one who understands how I feel.

My husband has lost his job due to coronavirus and every job he applies for ia 'on hold' every night i pray for resolution but i feel God has forsaken me. We have 2 children to support. Every path I walk down I hit a dead end. Can I ask for prayers, not only for a resolution to my husbands situation but also for my faith which I am struggling with. I have sunk into a deep depression which I am struggling to climb out of.

My prayer is that you see losing faith is the opposite of what God seeks for you in this time. But rather in trusting Him we believe that somehow God will provide. Don't look to man but look to God and let Him influence man. Somehow a provision will be made, it may not look like the old one but you will get through this only by trusting in Him. Make it be so in the name of Jesus. Amen

Father in heaven may you bless this family and so many more like them, in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Sadly I don't feel like I can contact with the church. The vicars children are in the same class as mine and it just feels awkward. My issue not the church's.

I just feel no matter what I do I am hitting dead ends. I just want the ends to open up. I just feel scared. I keep asking God for his help and guidance, to give me a sign he is walking with me but it's empty. I don't know what to do. I was always sure God had my back, and that everything happened for a reason. But I see no reason. And it hurts

God bless you and provide a way for your husband and yourself to find a way to take care of your children and yourselves. I pray asking that over and beyond of what we can think or imagine, that God will lead him to a job even though there is a job shortage in many places right now. Sorry for all the troubles you are facing. The Lord help you find your way out of all this a give a new job to your husband. May he help you to hold on to him, through all the doubts. If any forgiveness is needed, He forgives us. Remove all obstacles satan may put in the way. You are stronger and loving Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

You know the verse "deep calls to deep"... I believe in this time of shaking He is bringing us to deeper things and this is not without groaning. If I was you I would fast for starters, to as it were wave a flag to God saying "I am serious about getting things right and seeing a break through."

Just deliberately consecrate the fast and thrust fo a break through.

First, let me say how sorry I am to hear about your husband's job loss, and the struggles that you both have been going through. God will never forsake you. Ask you local church for help; or even ask friends and family for odd jobs to make ends meet. Keep calm. Just take one day at a time and try not to be overwhelmed. You will make it!
