Is it possible for someone to mess up God's dream for them so badly that He decides to take it away from them even though He may forgive the actions and choices that caused the mess up? I worry right now that even though God may forgive me for the choice I made, that He is going to decide to close the door on His dream for me. If that happened I don't know if I'd ever get over blowing my one chance to what I know God wanted me to do with my life and talent that He gave me.

God is like the father of the prodigal son. He is very patient, loving, kind, and forgiving.
Repent of the wrongs in your life, and pray to God always, make your requests be known to Him, be patient, loving, kind, and forgiving also. For He is your God, and Father. Remember, all of your sins were forgiven by the blood on the cross. Such a wonderful God He is.

I feel that would be best stated as Impossible. God has a wonderful plan for your life . Jeremiah 29:11 lets us know
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. In essence this speaks to me no one can stand in the way of the plans God has already been thinking towards you.

Hello , if I may offer encouragement to you ... the Bible clearly tells us that God is love and love is God . Ref 1 John 4:8 . I believe God will grant us the peace of mind not as the world gives, but as He offers that we may have all worry and fear cast away from us . It is not Gods will for His kids to worry and live in fear because fear has torment. Therefore God is not a man that He should lie.

God is love, my friend, but He also has order and expectations. First of all, I don't think one can rightly say God has a "dream for me". He deals in facts and truth! He knows what we will do before we do it. Just be very sure you are "born again" in Jesus Christ, for such a one without Christ will have no part in God. The real saints are sealed as "children of God" forever. We must come to God on His terms as given in His Word (note 1 Jn. 5:10-12). If you have done that and are devoted to the Lord Jesus, then you are forever saved (though all believers are weak and fail in the flesh at times). God gave true believers good counsel and hope in 1 Jn. 1:8-10 ---a precious resource for saints of God to know and keep.

I hope I haven't "messed up" in my counsel here, but I pray for your good.

Just know that the gifts and callings of God are without repentance. God does not take away our gifts and callings. The purpose He created you for will always remain the purpose that He has created you for despite whatever bad choices you make along the way. A righteous man falls 7 times according to Scripture, but as long as you get back up and repent God can still use you and you can still go forth and do what God has called you to do. That's what His grace is for. Even if this particular door has closed, God will open another for you. Just trust Him and know that His purpose for your life will come to pass as you continue to submit to His perfect will for your life. I pray the Holy Spirit continues to lead you into all truth and into God's perfect will for your life.

God bless you
