have you ever worked on campus? are you still working on campus? what position did you hold? did you like it or do you like it? do they work around your schedule?

I wish I could get an on-campus job, but they're for those who have "financial need" and according to the school, I have no financial need. yeah, right. But, from what I've heard they are ok jobs and they definitely work around your schedule.

At my school you don't need to be financially disadvantaged to work on campus. I've been working in the computer lab for one year now. They do work around my schedule. I like it

I work part-time in Financial Aid. They work around my class schedule. I like it.

I work in campus dining part time. they do work around our schedules, and I like the fact that I don't have to go far in order to get to work.

I liked it, I worked in an office and they worked around my schedule. It's not so good once you graduate or if you decide to take a semester off since they require you to take X credits to stay on, but it's a good arrangement for when you are looking to earn your degree.

When I was in college I worked as a physics tutor. It was a pretty good experience.

Now as a graduate student I teach physics recitations. Don't know if this is a "campus job," since it's more of a professional job. But I do work for the university.

I work on campus. I have had 3 summer jobs on campus. The last summer job ended up turning into a regular occuring job. I work Part Time during the school year and they work around my schedule. During the summer months I work Full Time. I've had this job for 3 years now and it's awesome!

I just wish I could get paid more money even though I make more then minimum wage.

Hmmm... after reading all the posts maybe it's different in the States then here? We don't need to be on Financial Aid to qualify for a job on campus. And they pay us really well...

You don't need to be on financial aid to work on my campus either but they don't pay us well. students are only allowed to work part time too.

I work in the campus information office/mailroom/duplicating center. I love working here and they definitely work around my schedule.

I worked as a tutor. I liked it and they worked around my schedule.

I've worked on campus since I was a freshman, first in the library and then doing research. The pay isn't great, but it's better than minimum wage. And in my current job, I get to come in any hours I like. Literally. I'd say it's a pretty sweet deal.

I worked on campus for my last two years of undergrad.

I loved it because my boss worked around my classes and I had evenings off, weekends, and holiday's.

Basically when the college wasn't open, I didn't work.
