  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

When I was a kid we went to the North New South Wales Camp.

Next month we will be having the South Queensland Camp held in the northern outskirts of Brisbane.

There will be about 3,000 campers there for the eight days. On the two Sabbaths usually about 10,000 people come each of the two Sabbath days.

This year I think we will have Pr Walter Wright from America come out and be the main night speaker in the "Big Tent".

As usual we will be camping on site. Not only is it a good spiritual time but one gets to meet many olf friends from way back.

I currently attend Campmeeting every June at Auburn Adventist Academy in Auburn, WA. As a child we used to go to the ones in Portland and also in College Place, WA on the campus of Walla Walla College. I have many great memories of campmeeting. When my girls were toddlers they would cry all the way home from campmeeting when it was over. They still look forward to it every summer and participate by working in the childrens divisions.

Happy Sabbath :D

I last attended campmeeting at Sedaven near Johannesburg, South Africa about 3 years ago because my sister asked me to come.
I left the SDA's shorthly after that. But I always enjoyed seeing old friends from school days. Later having lived in different places, and seeing old friends from different congregations was also fun to catch up on the latest news. The speakers were usually from America or Australia, which we enjoyed very much.
Thank's for fond memories.
God bless

I have gone to the camp meeting at Gentry, Arkansas for the last, ooohh, 7 years?? it is a great time, not only spiritually, but camping is a blast, especailly with your friends. Not only do i look forward to it every year, but my daughter cant wait for it and is sad when it is over! What a testimony, when our kids dont want to leave "church"!!

The camp meeting we attend is held at the Ozark Adventist Academy grounds, in beautiful NW Arkansas. It is a lovely country setting next to a COLD and clear babbling brook where the baptisms are done. Of course there is the BIG tent for the adult meetings and several smaller tents for the kids' activites. Also on the grounds are areas for tent camping and also RV's. People from all over the area and out of state come each year. It's a very blessed time for hearing the word of God--wonderful testimonies and meeting new friends and seeing old friends too. The kids love it!!

I would love to attend the 3ABN fall camp-meeting this year. But with the price of gas going thru the roof--that is not be possbile!!!

Blessings, Honor

We are paying $2.65 now. But I just heard that gas is going up .30 a gallon tomorrow--so go fill up!!!!!!!! lol.

Can you send me some at that price. There would be no end of people wanting to buy your cheap fuel.

This morning it was $1.20 per litre in Brisbane, Sydney is anything up to 10 cents per litre higher.
