Camping

Camping with small children... we are excited that our oldest is old enough to enjoy it. We haven’t gone anywhere special but we set up a tent in his grandparents’ backyard. It is fun but the first time, he rolled all over me all night long in his sleep. The second time, he was up late but we were on an air mattresses and he could not roll on me; however, the baby woke up in the night and couldn’t go back to sleep. He must have been too cold so I went inside and slept in the spare room with him. Camping with kids is fun but exhausting.

Wait until you try it for real in the woods...
Campfires and water (creeks, rivers and lakes)
Then the running around and them getting lost in the woods.
