I would like to start a thread that discusses Calvinism. I am 0 point Calvinist, and would like to take this side. Any Calvinists willing to discuss the finer points of Calvinism biblically?

I am willing but I am not sure of the rules , I think debating is forbidden , but questions are always welcome .

The rules particular to this forum follow:

1) This forum is open to all Christians. Non-Christian members are not allowed to post here.

2) Reformed/Calvinist, as well as all members of the Congregational Forums can post fellowship threads here. Only Reformed/Calvinist members are allowed to debate threads to discuss various doctrines to do with their own denomination and other denominations as long as they are within our rules.

3) Non-Reformed/Calvinist members can only post fellowship posts here or posts to ask a question regarding Reformed/Calvinist doctrine. Once the question is answered, there shall be no debate over the answer in this forum by the Non-Reformed/Calvinistmembers. Any debate posts by Non-Reformed/Calvinist members will be deleted. In other words, only Reformed/Calvinist members can debate here.

I would be in favor of that, Antonio. The best place to start such a thread would probably be in the Soteriology forum. You will also want to define some debate rules beforehand, otherwise the thread could like get out of hand. Establishing a criteria for argument, rebuttal, defense, and closing argument would be very helpful.

I was thinking that if we're going to have a debate on Calvinism that we should probably start with the first point, instead of the fifth (Total Depravity instead of Perseverance of the Saints). Unless you had a different idea about what you wanted to argue?
