Yeah, The original idea behind Dr Who was that he was a time traveller adn that he would visit different periods of time on Earth. It was meant to be an educational programme which is why the early episodes mostly depict periods in Earth's history, Cavemen, Rome, Gunfighters, the french revolution etc. It became more sci fi later.

You might want to contact the Who shop in east Ham London they have pretty much everything to do with Dr Who (hence the name) they might be able to help with DVDs or if not may be able to order them for you.

Which is your favorite Dr? and what is your favorite bad guy?

The only thing I can suggest is you contact "The Who Shop" here in London perhaps, I think they are on the internet. They may be able to help but they may charge more for the shipping if they do have them and you must have a multi region player if you do buy them. Does that help?

Thanks! Shipping costs from the U.K. can be horrible though. I also only have a U.S. Canada player.

I found it. Thanks, Doctor!

Been a fan since I was 12. It used to come on our PBS station at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday nights - sadly, the station won't pick it up anymore because of cost. My parents actually got me watching it - it became a family thing. Only went to one convention in St. Louis, MO. Met Janet Fielding (Tegan). I was 15, wasn't even familiar with her character at that time. My husband is also a fan.

I guess my frustration is the slowness of the Dr. Who episodes being released on DVD for purchase here in the states. I have a progressive scan DVD player that will play European coding, but I'm not sure if I want to pay the extra money that it would cost to ship here.

Wasn't Tom Baker also in that Dungeons & Dragons movie that was out a few years ago? Bad movie, but I was glad to see him.

Ok, now that I've posted, I'll go to the first page and read all the posts. Looking forward to seeing the new Doctor.

God Bless!
