What's your opinion of this independent film set in Middle earth?

It doesn't bother me much if people expand upon Tolkien's works, as long as they are accurate to the spirit of them and to as much of the relevant detail as possible. I mostly just admire these people for their dedication... they started off trying to film it with only $20,000!

Besides, most engagement rings don't have fiery letters in black speech...
