Good advice, Benedictine.
Chava, my first reaction is that God will reveal His particular calling to you in time. As you continue to study and develop yourself in your own spiritual life, and as Benedictine said, pray, I think you will start to feel an inner "nudge" from the Holy Spirit which will refine your direction even more than it is now. As it is, though, a sense that you are called to ministry and a desire to work with kids is an excellent start. Trust that as God has led you in the past, so He will lead you in the future.
There are a few things that you can do which will help you develop in your calling. Strangely enough, these are for the most part things any Christian can do to deepen their discipleship. They include prayer, Bible study, and worship. Also find yourself Christian mentors, people more experienced on the spiritual path who can help you in your own journey. Maintain or form close relationships with Christian peers for fellowship, support and accountability.
And in your case, I especially recommend looking for ways to put your gifts and skills into action. That may be teaching children at your church, it may be organizing a prayer group of your peers. You could talk to your pastor and explain that you are interested in stretching and growing as a ministering Christian, and s/he can help alert you to possible ways to serve. I recommend this to you because I think that the more ministry you do, the more you understand your own gifts and passions. That has been the case with me, at any rate. I did internships and taught Bible studies and did a bunch of different things, all of which helped me understand my calling to be a pastor. Discover your own gifts, and learn which skills are things you can learn well. As one of my seminary professors always said, "once you know who God created you to BE, you will know what He created you to DO."
All the best -- keep us posted, ok?
