Personality: Callan is generally mild-mannered unless it comes to two subjects: orcs, and darkness. He is deathly afraid of both, but tries to make up for his fear of the former by fighting them. He would rather pick a book than a sword, but when forced to rage, he has a terrible temper.
History: Callan was orphaned at an early age due to his parents' death by sickness, but he was given to a small family in Rohan. He grew up peacefully until he decided to go to Edoras to study. Unfortunately, he didn't learn much there besides disobedience. He joined a band of rogues and roamed the countryside out of sheer boredom. One night, a campfire that the group started was stirred up by the wind and caught the nearby countryside on fire. Callan was the first one to notice it, but the rest of the group just ran away. Seeing a small house nearby, Callan rushed to save the inhabitants, but he was too late. He arrived in time to hear the family's dying screams as they were burned to death. Shocked and instantly moralized, Callan took on the Elvish name "Lhach," or flame, and vowed to set things right. Since he had no idea how exactly to do that, he began to wander around Middle-Earth, until news of a huge battle of Carn Dum stirs his sense to regain righteousness...
