Where to begin? First off brother thanks for sharing more of your input: it helps to have various perspectives on the same subject. There are issues with the turtle subject, while it'd be cool to live on a living turtles back: we do not see this in reality. And according to the Bible, we simply live on the earth...not on top of an animal. Furthermore Genesis 1:14-19 clearly states that God created the Sun, Moon and stars to tell time and help us track time...not the back of a turtle shell. The story of the Lakotah and that if the Bible are two completely different narratives: therefore they will never align with one another unless you destroy in part or as a whole the other narrative.

The earth and it's axis since this thread is not about the earth I will limit my response to the immediate context of what you wrote. A thorough search of scripture will show you that the Bible describes the earth as dry land, immovable, and having four corners: therefore as far as the Word of God is concerned the axis is something made up and added to the Word of God..and because scripture states that no one but God will be able to measure the earth: therefore no one has witnessed the "rotation of the earth" beyond a cartoon or cgi.

Numbers and Arithmetic any magician can bamboozle you with numbers if you don't know your history and arithmetic. You said:

13 Months × 28 Days = 364 Days

...but a examination of weeks shows us...

52 Weeks × 7 Days = 364 Days

...an examination of seasons shows us...

91 Days × 4 Seasons = 364 Days

...an examination of solar months shows us...

12 Months × 30 Days = 360 Days

The four extra days are intercalated between the end of each season to divide one season from the other: and at the end of the year they are reckoned...

360 Days + 4 Intercalary Days = 364 Days

In conclusion while there are some interesting connections and things other cultures say: choose one story to base your life off of and stick with that one story. If you believe in the Bible stick with it and seek to understand it and take the advice of scripture by not adding or taking away from it: otherwise you end up confusing yourself and others because you have a foundation of sand and not a foundation of stone. And lastly, make sure what you read matches with reality: the Babylonians afterall claim in the Gilgamesh epic that the heavens were created out of the torn flesh of a murdered goddess. Even Aristotle believed nonsense that the earth was supported by elephants who were on top of a turtle:and all this without witnessing such a site..sigh...Aristotle even claimed that the Babylonians were uneducated barbarians without having been there himself: yet his student Alexander the Great proved his teacher wrong many times by backing up his theories with experience, and showed that the Babylonians were far more advanced than the Greeks ever were.

Where To Begin: First-off my ancestry is not Native American Indian, and i agree that myths (e.g. Turtle Island) exist in every primitive culture (deception of the enemy) and even some modern cultures . My point was that because God created all humans in His image we are spiritual beings having an inert intelligence with the ability to acquire wisdom. My point was that God uses His creation to provide clues to His obedient children (Romans 2:13-15) that are observant of His signs and wonders that surround us (Psalms 19:1) so we cannot disprove His existence.

It's been said that there is no such word in the Hebrew language for our English word "coincidence." Personally, i don't believe it's a coincidence that the back of every turtle shell of various species has 13 segments on its back and 28 segments around its lower side. God purposely designs His creation as a means to instruct us. Because of some of the similarities between the ancient Hebrews and the American Indians there are some that go so far as to propose that certain tribes intermarried with a remnant of the so-called lost tribes of Israel. Hebrews that could have reached the shores of the North American continent two thousand years ago or 1000 years ago. That's not to imply by any means that the indigenous peoples of this continent couldn't have figured out God's calendar with God's instructive Spirit on their own with a turtle shell for a clue.

Any way back to the real possibility that at one time the moon orbited the earth every 28 days before the Deluge instead of it's current orbit every 27.322 days. If we use a turtle's shell as God's creative sign for His calendar then the moon orbited the earth every 28 days and there were 13 moon cycles as the earth's orbit around the sun was almost 365.25 days. Could this have been the timeline after the Deluge when the earth's axis shifted to its present 23.4 degrees, and a solar tropical orbit of 365.25 days instead of 364 days (360 + 1 day for each season). Or is it not possible that before the Deluge a turtle had 12 sections on the top of its shell and 30 segments around it's lower shell = 360 + 4 legs = 364

https://planet-earth-2017.com/what-makes-earth-spin/

So, it's your belief that the earth doesn't spin on it's axis and like the moon the same side of the earth continually faces the sun; while the other side of the earth is in darkness
... therefore no one has witnessed the "rotation of the earth" beyond a cartoon or cgi.

No one said you were Native American.
At this point in the conversation we're just aimlessly speculating...and I don't like having speculative discussions like this when the evidence is clear in the Bible as to how we are to tell time. History has proven that despite our whacky doctrines and philosophies man has always recognized that the sun, moon and stars are how we tell time. As man fell further away from God we started forgetting this and not really caring so we ended up inveting different ways to do what the luminaries were created to do from the beginning.
It sounds to me that you're simply making attempts to justify your own view on the calendar despite what scripture says.
As for the earth not spinning: I don't need to believe in something not provable in nature...get an education in reality brother...if one side of the earth is in continual darkness then can you tell me which side that is? Once you do you'd have to explain why it's not always dark in the east or the west...and that picture is stupid as the Russians have only been able to drill about 7 miles into the earth: yet the earth's inner core is said to be about 4,000 miles deep? You will know a tree by the fruit it bears: science has lied as it is well documented that no man has gotten to the center of the earth and we have been only able to create a drill to penetrate 7 miles deep is prood of that.
Thanks for the laughs. I'll keep praying for you.

Enoch never said anything about 13 months/year with 28 days each.
It's hard for lunar observers to accept that the Jews have fallen away from the original sokar calendar. You guys don't have to make thus any harder than it really is: just drop the moon and follow the sun like scripture states.

What Bible translation or commentary are you referring to in which editors have amended the Bible to say that the earth revolved on a north/south pole axis during the time of Enoch? So you don't believe the earth spins on its axis, but rather that the sun revolves around the earth? Thought you were at first implying that you actually believed the earth (like the moon) doesn't spin as it rotates around the sun every 24 hrs. Now realize what you meant is that the sun revolves every 24 hrs around a stationary earth that doesn't spin on a north/south pole axis as National Geographic would have us believe
History has proven that despite our whacky doctrines and philosophies man has always recognized that the sun, moon and stars are how we tell time.

Thanks, but no-thanks for the non-clarification
.
Enoch never said anything about 13 months/year with 28 days each.
Neither did Enoch deny it, but then that was before the Deluge and before the north/south pole axis underwent a cataclysmic tilt so it's now 23.4 degrees off vertical as it now spins on its axis.

Easier said then done, but then you knew that If you at one time believed the sun rotates around an earth having four corners and doesn't revolve on its axis that would mean you may believe that at one time the sun made one revolution around the earth approximately every 24 hrs or 364 times a year. Otherwise how do you explain that the earth doesn't revolve on its axis every 24 hours?

Are you one of those that believe America never landed any men on the moon? That it was all staged near Roswell, NM.

Or did you come to this MJ forum to make tongue-in-cheek jest of certain scriptures in the Bible and/or Hebrew/Jewish culture?

12x30+5 (intercalery days) =365, the equinox would be your 5th intercalery day.

The problem with this logic is that there only four seasons and fifty two weeks in a year. So would you explain where you got the fifth intercalary day?

The vernal equinox. The yearly reset day. The first day of the year begins the following day.

If you count that day twice then it works. But starting from the first day of the year as your beginning count you only have 364 days in a year.

No I'm not counting the equinox twice. The v. equinox serves as the yearly reset. The day after the equinox would be the first day of the year, not the equinox. 91 x 4 + equinox = 365.

You are counting it twice according to your own logic. When you count the number of weeks for any calendar there are only fifty two weeks: and those fifty two weeks are why there are nintey one days per season...it's really not that hard brother:

01) 30
02) 30
03) 30 + 1 (Summer Solstice)
04) 30
05) 30
06) 30 + 1 (Fall Equinox)
07) 30
08) 30
09) 30 + 1 (Winter Solstice)
10) 30
11) 30
12) 30 + 1 (Spring Equinox)

You'll never get 365 days no matter how hard you try. Your reckoning counts all of the days once...and then you conveniently count the spring equinox a second time...

First of all the vernal equinox, summer solstice, autumnal equinox, or winter solstice never fall on the 91st day of any season of Uriels calendar, nor does Enoch claim they do.

01) 30
02) 30
03) 31 (summer solstice will fall on the 2nd day of the 4th month)
04) 30
05) 30
06) 31 (autumnal equinox will fall on the 4th day of the 7th month)
07) 30
08) 30
09) 31 (winter solstice will fall on the 3rd day of the 10th month)
10) 30
11) 30
12) 31 (vernal equinox does not fall in either the 12th month or the 1st month of the subsequent year. It is its own day, a “Marker day” or day the calendar resets. New year’s day, or the 1st day of the 1st month begins the day after.

There are 185 days from the v. equinox to the a. equinox and 180 days from the a. equinox to the v. equinox.
There are 92 days from the v. equinox to s. solstice.
There are 93 days from the s. solstice to a. equinox.
There are 91 days from the a. equinox to w. solstice.
There are 89 days from the w. solstice to v. equinox.

We don’t have to speculate on the calendar that was shown to Enoch. Examples still stand today in Europe in what archeologist call the “enoch zone”. Enoch was standing in the middle of an archaic observatory. If you actually follow enochs instructions and set up these portals and window, which require a small amount of manual labor, it really opens ones eyes on the simplicity of this fixed calendar. I know you will argue about the first paragraph of the page I’m about to refer you to but skip that and scroll down to the actual construction of these portals and windows according to the book of enoch. I’ve set these up year’s ago and have witnessed for my self this fixed calendar. http://theonomous.org/almanac/
Brother, I don’t know if you consider this is a conversation worth continuing but if you do I would much rather be on the phone rather than a back and forth on a public forum. As great as it is to be able to discuss between computer to computer much is lost with just text. I’ll just give you my number if you want to continue.

Okay though you are still grossly wrong as you are basing your conclusions on writings that are not supported by scripture. PM me your phone number.
