I had to have my cable with over 100 stations.
I made sure I watched TBN, stealing quotes for my Christian conversations.
I watched TBN all morning to substitute studying my bible.
Between Joyce Meyer and Creflo Dollar, I would get some kind of revival.
Oh but right at 9:00, I'd grab my remote control.
Watchining talk shows, soap operas, adn movies new and old.
One Saturday morning my baby wanted to hang and watch TV with me.
But I was watching a Rated "R" movie, well something she didn't need to see.
I immediately changed the channel, and did what us parents do best.
I said "They're doing bad things on that channel, and you can't feed your spirit that mess".
My baby sat on my lap, she said "Mommy that's not true".
Cause if it's bad for my spirit, it would be bad for yours too.
Out of the mouth of my babes comes my convictions.
God sometimes uses my children as a tool to get my attention.
I now watch TBN when I arise and as I fall asleep.
To set a good example for my children, and practice what I preach.
What you feed the spirit, is what will eventually come out of your mouth.
If your appetite is for righteousness you have nothing to worry about.
