How so? I was just suggesting that if we get into quoting textual experts as a basis to decide which Greek text to be preferred, both sides have reputable scholars to support their case!

That's still not addressing issues of textual criticism. So it committed the Appeal to Authority fallacy

And what is that reason? And why did it make more sense to you?
I still believe that the oldest manuscripts on the whole tended to reflect closer to the originals, as there was less time involved in the process of having scribal notes and comments from the margins to be recopied and moved over into the actual greek text themselves! I also do NOT say that all of the CT was superior to the Majority texts, as there are no doubt some instances where the MT/BZT should be preferred, but overall would be better!

So you elevate one unprovable characteristic above the others without bothering to examine them equally?

Can you give me an actual example of where the oldest manuscript proves the others wrong? Is oldest necessarily best and is best always found in the oldest manuscripts?

What about the 1000s of contradictions between the two "oldest and best" manuscripts? How do you decide between them when they differ?

As do all who are not textual scholars though!
Nonsense. No true student of the scriptures will blindly follow what others have written. We read what they have written then check the evidence for ourselves.

Here is an example. Look at these two pictures of the Greek text of Alexandrinius and tell me which reading says what and which is more likely to reflect the autograph and why you think so.

I already stated that the Critical text is not all of the time having the best text, but does a majority ofd the time.

Why are you avoiding answering the question?
I have been using the Arrival of the Greek Text, at the Gospel Publishing House site, as that seems to be a good concise summary of the history of the Greek NT coming to us thru history!

How do you know that?

I posted two photographs of Greek words. What do those words mean and what is the difference between them?

What does that have to do with you avoiding the question? Nothing, of course. Just another "no answer" answer.
