  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It's a truism in photography that the best light for outdoor picture-taking is in the early morning or the late afternoon. So on a couple of recent famly camping trips, I've been out early looking for things to photograph. Some results are some results, all shot at Nickerson State Park on Cape Cod. Comments and suggestions welcome.

Thanks for the comments. The shot I was most pleased with was the one of the reflected plants. Not because it is necessarily the prettiest to look at, but because I often have trouble getting my pictures to look uncluttered, and I succeeded in this one case. (Plus, it wasn't an obviously lovely scene, so I felt like I'd accomplished something in finding the shot.)
