The Son of man is to be revealed to this world.
The life of Jesus is to be made manifest (made to shine) in our mortal bodies/flesh. Again, 2nd Corinthians 4:10-11 highlights this fact for us:
2Co 4:10-11 KJV
(10) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
(11) For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
This manifestation of the life of Jesus in our mortal bodies is the revealing of the Son of man to this dark world.
His life is to shine through us. We shall shine like the sun in the kingdom of the Father whose glory will appear over us....and the outside world shall then see it and many shall come to that light shining through us.
We haven’t seen this manifestation yet.
The reason: The Son of man (the manifestation of His life in mortal flesh) has been hidden from this world because of the false prophets who are only “preaching themselves”….preaching for hire…preaching to get their earthly needs met.
They cannot understand the gospel of the glory of Christ who is the image of God.
They are mortally perishing because of it….and are taking down MULTITUDES that are being deceived by them down the broad way to their mortal destruction. The outside world sits in complete spiritual darkness because His people are not being taught the gospel of truth so that they might shine towards them the light of Christ and the glory of God.
It is being hid to them that are mortally perishing away to the grave because they are handling the Word of God deceitfully…..for their own belly’s sake.
2Co 4:2-5
(2) But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
(3) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost (PERISHING):
(4) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(5) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
The Son of man is being hid in the “heart/belly of the earth” as the many false prophets are only earthly-minded in their “preaching” and cannot understand the gospel of the glory of Christ that is supposed to shine through our mortal flesh here to this dark world for others to see. They only serve themselves …serving to fill their belly…rather than the Lord Jesus Christ...and so cannot understand. The Son of man goes away from this earth as it is written.
Mat 12:39-40 KJV
(39) But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
(40) For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
But the Son of God comes to give us knowledge in the Spirit of Truth so that we may know Him who is true. We shall understand the good news of His appearing life.
The Son of man is be revealed to this world through us.
When He appears, we shall appear with Him in glory….NOW in this dark world. This is not about dying and going to heaven…as it is this world that needs to see the light of Christ shining through us. Those who are preaching that we are to die and go to Heaven have totally missed the truth of the gospel.
We shall shine towards the people of the outside world who do not know their right hand from their left as they are all in deep spiritual darkness.
Col 3:4 KJV
(4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
But when His life is being made manifest NOW in His people (the few who will understand the gospel), it will be like in the days of Noah…where only 8 souls where saved.
The unbelievers in the churches of men will carry on as business as usual…having need of nothing (the thinking in their minds.)
As the days of Noah were, so shall also be the “coming”…that is, the PRESENCE…of the Son of man.
The “coming” = Greek: Parousia - From G3844 and G1510 (including its various forms); to be near, that is, at hand; neuter present participle (singular) time being, or (plural) property: - come, X have, be here, + lack, (be here) present.
While the few of His people will shine in this world with His presence being made manifest in this world, the man-based church denominations will continue on as if nothing is going on: eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage. So shall the presence of the Son of man be...while He is being made manifest.
Mat 24:37-39
(37) But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming (PRESENCE) of the Son of man be.
(38) For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
They will not know anything until the “flood” comes….as many people on the outside world shall see His life being made manifest in our mortal flesh and will believe. It will be a flood of people. It will start as a trickle and will advance until it becomes a mighty raging river. Ezekiel 47:2-6 .
Only then will the unbelieving people of the churches of men will know....when a lot of people of the outside world will come to Him.
(39) And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming (PRESENCE) of the Son of man be.
At the beginning of His manifestation in this world, the unbelievers will scoff: where the promise of His coming …that is, PRESENCE….
2Pe 3:3-4
(3) Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
(4) And saying, Where is the promise of his coming (PRESENCE)? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
They will not "hear" His voice. In other words, they will not believe in what they hear Him saying and will speak evil of us who do believe. Our own church brothers will hate us and cast us out for His name’s/ authority’s sake.
They will scoff: “Let the LORD be glorified.”
But He shall appear to our joy as His life shall be made manifest in our mortal flesh (the glory of God will appear over us) to the outside dark world ….and many people who are sitting in that darkness will respond to it. The unbelievers shall be ashamed then.
Isa 66:4-6 KJV
(4) I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
(5) Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
(6) A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
They will only see the “sign of Jonah” as many people in the outside world who do not know their right hand from their left shall repent and believe.
They shall see the Son of man coming on the “clouds”….clouds of people…and then the unbelievers will mourn. They will be ashamed.
Mat 24:30 KJV
(30) And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
The unbelievers will then panic when they see this large group of people believing and praising God.
It started small but then becomes large enough for them to see the effect of the Son of man upon the people of this world who will believe. They will see the "clouds" of people.
